Turbo Reviews
Turbo is not a terrible movie. it's just really boring. the villain was bad, and the message felt like it came straight out of a Pixar movie. the animation wasn't that bad, i liked it. overall, 5/10.
I dunno why, but I just LOVE this movie. Something about it is just so... good. Sure, call the "twist villain" a bad villain, call the plot derivative, call it mid, but I think "The Snail Is Fast" is enough to bump it up to an A Tier.
Looks like Pixar cars
In my opinion one of dreamworks best films loved the charachters and Reynolds voice acting of turbo the story was well written and loved the dynamic between all the charachters sure the twist villain felt forced but other than that it’s still a great animated film from dreamworks that should have got a best animated feature Oscar nomination.
snal slow booooo sanl fast yayyy
Was great for me but kids got mad at the taco revolution
Es divertida y emocionante, una aventura de carreras y comedia entretenida con un increíble elenco
No doubt, this is my 2nd favorite DreamWorks movie just behind ROTG. This movie is cute, exciting, extremely funny, I think the only part I don’t like was when Tito was celebrating and singing “we are the champions” but otherwise, everything about this movie is just amazing. Especially because I can relate to about half of it, and that’s the most of almost any movie I’ve ever seen. Definitely the most out of an animated one. Very good movie.
Fun and simple in all the ways.
A perfectly fine animated movie but not one of Dreamworks greatest films
As the actor for Turbo, Ryan Reynolds, its truly amazing to see all the love for this film, I'm glad I could provide so well for everyone, love to you all :)
uh. This movie exists. I like the Snoop Dogg snail. bow wow wow. I liked the Samuel L Jackson snail. see you around officer. I'm tired I don't want to write a review about a snail
While it may entrance young viewers with exciting visuals and flashing colors, Turbo's story is predictable and straightforward at best. Side characters are underdeveloped, the character arc feels cliché, and the ending seemingly undermines the main characters growth arc just enough to feel unsatisfying. But hey, it has Ryan Reynolds and Snoop Dogg, so at least the voices are nice to listen to.
Used to watch this movie a lot as a kid, so I have a lot of nostalgia for it. On a recent watch I've come to see many of it's flaws with the writing, some of the stereotypical jokes and characters were not really my favorite. But there was a reason why I used to watch it so much, that feeling hasn't left me. It's fun, especially if you're a fan of races! But I'm not sure I would recommend it to anyone that hasn't already watched it before or isn't very into animation/racing sports. I had fun rewatching the movie regardless however, so I would consider this movie decent!
It doesn’t tell the most interesting or original story, but this solid take at an unpredictable, action-packed, suspenseful, and awesomely animated DreamWorks film is worth a watch or two.
Unrealistic premise, a snail would never go that fast. Typical Hollywood exaggeration of an otherwise iconic true story.
