Ultraman: Rising Reviews
I really enjoyed this animated film . I found the story and action to be both very strong .
To get the point out and not go on for too long because this movie is so good, i will say I'm lost for words, like it's just the definition of Beautiful.
Good movie brought my childhood memories of the character back, it was a joy to see this movie. Animation is great it is done by ILM who also did Transformers ONE so it's a very beautiful mix of 3D & 2D elements and smooth movement with the hint of Japanese versions, Voice acting is also great too Primarirly made for kids so adults might find it boring but overall, it's a nice family film and watching it with family will be a good time
New to the Ultraman franchise, but this is a new universe so there's no need to know anything. This isn't spectacular, but it's fast, colorful, and engaging. The story is a touch slow, but audiences of adults and kids should be satisfied. There is a lot to like. Final Score: 7/10
This movie genuinely changed the way I looked at myself. I always tried to be Ultraman, transforming myself to be all big and tough looking, but inside, was a hollow and shallow little boy that does it all for attention like Sato. It made me cry in a way that I haven't in forever. I was shouting and hollering like a newborn baby, begging for my mom to come back, but she never will. I kept waiting, and waiting, and waiting for her to come back and be the mom I knew and loved during 7th grade, but I knew she won't. I struggled trying to deal with it like Ultraman and not the person inside. A big persona for a small personality. All the pent up stress building up and exploding all at once. Just like Sato.
The movie has a simple story that shows a hero trying to balence it with his normal life while raking care of a baby titan, simple but the way they do it was so good and emotional some scenes.
I like it but I want Vinnie to be the writer if the upcoming monsterverse film
Ultraman: Rising is a visually stunning animated film that breathes new life into the beloved franchise. My experience watching it was thoroughly enjoyable, as the film combines spectacular action sequences with heartfelt storytelling. The vibrant CG animation draws strong inspiration from the Spiderverse films, creating a dynamic visual style that kept me captivated throughout. The characters are well-developed, particularly Ken, who serves as a relatable model for responsibility and forgiveness. I appreciated how the film balances humor and emotional depth, making it suitable for viewers of all ages. While the pacing occasionally felt uneven, the overall narrative was engaging and kept me invested in the characters' journeys. The action scenes are exhilarating, showcasing Ultraman's iconic battles in a way that feels fresh and exciting. Overall, Ultraman: Rising is a fantastic addition to the franchise that successfully combines family-friendly entertainment with sophistication. It left me feeling uplifted and eager for more adventures in this universe.
My Rioul ( Taichi ): Like his the ultra in his name implays My Pikachu: This movie os especially Ultra Fantasic Me: Ultraman: Rising is amoug the best and one the most exceptional flims of this year. While it can have a dreay start with some iritating plot points in current parts. But it still dosent stop it to be anything but ultra as with is engaging story, animation that is just as good enough for cinema threater just as much it is on streaming, great performaces with the characters that especially want you to be in this adventure too & a epic finale My Rioul ( Taichi ): The only way to detrime how great this movie is to you or not is to give it a chance and who knows youll love especially understand it just as much as we did My Rioul ( Taichi ) & My Pikachu ( Hikari ): And Thats Truth Story: 9.5/10 Animation: 10/10 Characters: 9/10 Overall: 9.5/10🤖💝🐉
Slow moving and squarely aimed at kids and americans as the baseball element seemed a distraction. Good quality animation though.
This movie was so f**king awesome with a okay animation, both great & not so great characters & possibly has the best action scenes so far even better than Kung Fu Panda 4 action scene. Also this film also made me cry at least twice in a row of how great this movie is. 🥺😥😭🥹🥰
One of the best Ultraman films in my opinion with the mix of themes of sudden parenthood and the growth of a monster, the animation is so charming. The song is no less interesting😊👍🏻
We need a sequel! Loved the movie
I tried to stay up but it was awesome.
I really liked the movie and I hope to see a sequel soon
This movie is a treat for long time Ultraman fans, new Ultraman fans and casual viewers too. It's got everything you expect in a movie like this: Kaiju battles, likeable characters, family bonding moments and tear jerking emotional scenes. And references to past Ultra shows for old Ultraman fans to spot will be there also! Highly recommend to watch!
My children and I watched it together and really enjoyed it.
This was one of the best movies I have ever scene. First of all it is visually beautiful, the animation and drawing style is stunning. Makes me think of the spiderverse movies. Second of all, most of the time when I watch movies I find myself reaching for the skip 5 seconds or 10 seconds forward button because it isn't interesting enough for me, but here it was interesting every second. I seriously hope that there are plans to make a sequel because wow
It has a beautiful lesson on how to be a good father, how to raise a son or daughter alone, and it moves the viewer's feelings. In short, it is an excellent film, recommended for viewing with the family.
