Unforgettable Reviews

Apr 18, 2025

Starts off well. Katherine Heigl is brilliant. However the ending is totally predictable. Was hoping for a plot twist at the end but no such luck. Same unimaginative finale. When will the psycho woman win for once?

This movie was not good. Not only was it bizarre but the acting and plot were terrible. It definitely wasn't unforgettable

Formulaic, boring, highly predictable, unimaginative and terrible acting - although the later could be potentially blamed on bad directing and the script…. Give it a miss…

A solid drama & thriller. The most intense was the obsessive ex-wife. Her tricks were the heart of this story. And the scariest.

Brilliant, smart, good character.

They were practically begging for this movie to suck when they named it the way they did. The odds of a movie like this being truly unforgettable were already very slim, made much worse by their decision to do absolutely nothing surprising for the entire runtime. That said, I went into it with low expectations & it was refreshing to see Heigl, who I'd not watched in a long time, so I didn't hate it. It reminded me vividly of the type of nothingburger movies my dad used to rent from Redbox when I was in high school.

Rosario Dawson properly displayed what bad acting is. It was so cringe to watch her poor attempt to be believable in any of her scenes. The writing was absolutely awful on top of that. Skip this movie.

The unpretentious Unforgettable is a typical Hallmark nightmare taken to the movies. In it there are no surprises, everything is predictable and the characters continue to make mistakes of trusting and mistrusting those who should not be.

Distracted me, so okay. Not very memorable.

Smaller parts were forgettable, but a solid, disturbing thriller either way.

Julia gives up her whole life to move across state to start a new life with her new fiancee and his daughter. However, her fiancee's ex-wife has other ideas and has no intention and letting this new woman taking her family away from her no matter the cost. It is an unfortuante title they gave this film because it is actually pretty forgettable. Anyone who has seen movies like Single White Female, Pacific Heights, The Hand that Rocks the Cradle etc will be very familiar with this set up as it is well worn territory for domestic thrillers. I took a chance on this film anyway because I like Rosario Dwson's films and I was interested to see Katherine Heigl ditch her usual ditzy romantic lead role to take on a full blown psychopath. The main problem I had with the film was it all seemed a bit silly as a lot of the characters made such dumb decisions that didn't make a lot of sense and that isn't down to the leads, it's down to the writers who just got lazy. Both leads were ok although I couldn't quite get my head around Katherine Heigl's character. There just wasn't much to her, not exactly a memorable villian. It wasn't completely dreadful, it had moments but instantly forgettable.

Pretty good lil twisted

Because the most hellish gas-lighters are of course furious ex-wives who've been scorned and then jill off to revenge porn on Facebook. Cannonical scale: 3.5/5 (the title being largely a lie)

Jul 17, 2019

Predictable and too long for such a story. The screenwriter needs more practice.

Heigl is extremely believable as a crazy woman.

Unforgettable is pretty forgettable. Dawson tries her best to give a decent performance here but everybody around here is phoning it in. Bland performances. Beyond that though the story is predictable and pretty much what you would expect. It feels like a lifetime movie just with an R rating. Overall it’s one of those predictable thrillers that you watch but can’t remember much about it the next day.
