Vermiglio Reviews
Dictated on the ethnographic method and if it should not be clear I will hang a map on the blackboard for mapping the places. How many palms of hand are there from Trentino to Sicily? Can something unusual be added to a veristic landscape? There is no intention. Photographic pride elbows its way through the narrative; I want to impose my images on you, devoted handmaidens, from the Mazzinian bundle; and on those vivisected crosses in the snow, there is no arguing, remarkable. It is a narrative that we were taught very well in school and probably here we want to emphasize that all of this has led us to what will be the sexual revolution and the movement of '68. Is there still something revolutionary in a nun who smokes?
Romantic and a good clasic film. Wonderfull
Film sangat bagus menceritakan gejolak cinta dan adat yang masih di jaga dengan baik walau dunia semakin maju dan cerita yg membuat kita terhipnotis dengan keadaan nya sekelilingnya. Good
good movie and very enjoyable
Painterly? More like watching paint dry. What an absolute yawn.
Romantic and classic, really enjoy
wowww impressive!!! i like it so much
Filmnya rekomendedd untuk ditonton
Vermiglio is exquisite. There’s a rough, earthy tenderness to the picture and a kinship with other recent examples of Italian folk cinema
good movie and also entertain
This Movie Recommend for Watching with Family
good movie and also entertain
This was a beautiful movie that evoked a moment in time… although I was surprised to reread the description that it was just after WWII. This remote village in the Alps was a traditional community… it seemed more like WWI to me. The opportunities for women were very limited. I enjoyed the movie.
Reminds me very much of the Tree of Wooden Clogs by Ermanno Olmi. Beautifully crafted with minimal dialogue - every scene an oil painting. Exquisitely acted by every character, it is immersive, emotional and quietly magnificent.
Everything about the film is well done. It’s very good at evoking the time and place, which, obviously is a much different time than we live in now and that’s great.. It should be slower and it really is. There’s nothing wrong with any of this except for me personally two hours felt like three hours and that’s not necessarily good. In truth. there wasn’t a lot to the story. It’s probably more my personal issue as opposed to the film, but be prepared for a very slow moving film.
Not bad, bit not very good either.
A wonderful film, incredible cinematography and courageous directing by a 1st time feature long director in a language few communities still speak. beautiful, I highly recommend seeing it. Interesting for its historical relevance of mountain communities of that era.
I didnt get the point. 10 member family living in Vermiglio, 2 of the daughters were interesting. The main love story was as empty as the other 8 characters. Not worth the time.
No need to say much to tell a story
Lensed in a velvety softness and set in the picturesque titular province of Italy, Italy's submission for Best International Feature Film at the 97th Academy Awards is a keenly observed and poignant portrait of a family in a mountain village subliminally sustaining the effects of a faraway war.
