Warfare is definitely a must see in theaters. The sound is phenomenal. It’s not a movie that tries to glorify warfare with unrealistic cinematic events. You just have to experience it in theaters. The acting is excellent. Highly recommend seeing in theaters.

No Hollywood exaggeration or politics. Just heart pounding war with insane tension. The slow burn pacing builds real fear. The human suffering is sickening yet such immersive filmmaking with powerful sound editing. The acting is raw & real.

If you can, try and see this on a big screen. The visceral experience of the sudden sounds add to the empathy you will have for anyone in a combat setting. Film of the year so far.

'Warfare' ends up as expected: bleak and miserable. The sound design is truly outstanding, such fine work ensures that you hear and feel everything. The plot being told in real time makes it rather captivating too, the tone of either trepidation or torment is omnipresent. Well, I say omnipresent, that's taking out the opening scene. I was not expecting that! Very fun though and a good way to show a snapshot of the camaraderie. It shouldn't work because it's not like it matches the rest of the film, but I gotta say I really loved it. What a tune, by the way. It's a fairly stacked cast list, from Will Poulter to Joseph Quinn to Charles Melton to Michael Gandolfini to D'Pharaoh Woon-A-Tai. No-one actually stands out individually, but I think that's entirely a good thing because it obviously isn't a story about any one person - it's about all of them.

A fantastic war movie and a movie that truly makes you feel rather then being preached at. A wonderful experience.

Difficult film to review because although it’s very well made it’s not an easy film to watch. And l kept thinking that the Americans have all this amazing equipment, communications and backup against blokes with flowing robes, sandals, scratchy weapons and little else. If the Americans were suffering, which of course they were terribly, how was it for the other side?

Okay I’m really not going to lie I’m a teenage girl okay 😭I was skeptical about war movies but let me tell you I’m sensitive okay I did cry a little but I really did enjoy the movie if I could watch it again i genuinely would I really do recommend it !! 10/10 for me please if you have the chance I recommend to watch it it’s based on real life.

Very good film. Starts off quiet slowly, then bang, it all kicks off and remains very intense for the remainder of the film. Lots of Very sound screaming, I had to cover my ears as it was gut churning. IED explosion made me jump, then total confusion due to blast, shock, noise and horrible injuries.

Very tense and then very intense film. The film work is superb and the editing cuts the narrative to the very bare essentials. A visceral and immersive film experience. Defo see on the big screen with a good sound system.

Best war film I have seen. No Hollywood soundtrack. Just raw realistic sound. Made by people who were there. Every oligarch (I'm looking at you Democrats and Republicans) should be forced to watch this. No shaped narrative, just the details of what this skirmish was like for those who served.

Very little story and honestly had no idea they were Navy Seals. Pretty much just thought they were a plain caught in an ambush with no idea why they were there.
