its not a bad movie but nethier a good one its just missing some things in it nto atleast have a good review, like take more time to make the story more blood, less guns, more characters less monsters

Well, I'm a fan of Mr. Grito, it appears they spent most of their budget on his salary. For a horror movie this is pretty funny, for a comedy this is pretty horrible. The writing is terrible, not very well thought out, I would say almost silly but then that would be funny and they didn't make it that far. That far. Physical special effects were not very good. They probably should have gone with CGI but that would have cost more money. So to recap for free watch at home, it's not that bad.

A bunch of werewolves with bad make-up and a poor sense of smell, even one who flies, are out for dinner on a special night. The director uses all the tricks, eg flashing lights, camera all over the place, confusing story scenes, bad acting. This flop started off pretty bad, ended like it had been written by a child and the middle was rubbish. Frank Grillo is up to his usual standard of "acting" believing bulging veins in bulging arms is going to save him. Only relatives of the bad actors will put up with this movie. I can't see why anyone would put their name on the credits. Zero stars

Werewolves was a decent movie on the concept of a strange martial law declaration and family oriented with a sweet ending on that note, but the werewolves change and the backstory behind how this came to be was a bit hazy which I think took away from some of the delivery when the wolves finally emerged for their night on the prowl. It was nice to see Lou Diamond Phillips, but I had hoped he was going to have a more critical role than he ended up having in the brief cameo made before...well, no spoilers, but let's just say things don't quite go the way I envisioned they would and it was a little disappointing. Nevertheless, I gave the movie a steady three stars cause there were aspects I really enjoyed. I would compare it to a sort of Battle LA type of film.

So freaking bad. Awful story, bad acting, lot of plot holes. Some weird random scenes. Also weird cuts.

I give the story one star. It could have been written better. I give the special makeup effects and the werewolf animatronics, costumes, puppets, whatever they used for all of the werewolves 5 stars. So that is why I give 3 stars for the average rating. I saw a werewolf animatronic similar to these at 2024 Transworld. Not sure if it is related. Really cool prop and I really enjoyed all the werewolves. Also enjoyed seeing one of the actress's from the show Spartacus' in this.

Bad acting. Bad direction. Bad special effects. Good concept.

I like this movie. It's a decent werewolf movie. It was very suspenceful at the beginning of the movie when they were counting down until moon rise. But then it turned into an action werewolf movie. Not bad. But this movie was much more scarier when everyone was preparing for nightfall (before the werewolves appeared).

This movie could have been so much better. Kind of innovative idea for the story background, but the story itself is one of the most boring plots I ever encountered. The werwolves' 80s style is something I personally like, but except a colour stripe here and some remaining makeup or jewellery there, they all look 100% identical. So even this retro-aspect was not executed well. This movie became part of the pile "never to watch again".

I'm not a fan of horror (leaves me sleepless despite common sense), but I do enjoy a good thriller. This was too "Dont open that door!" to be scary. When Im spending half the movie yelling at the characters to use some common sense- its not even believable enough to give me a fright. How am I supposed to be afraid when, hypothetically putting myself in that situation, I wouldnt be dumb enough to be yelling? Also, the ending kinda just flops. There's no real closure.

(spoiler alert I guess?) I get it. It's a B horror flick. But why did they make the woman and her kid so stupid? Every scene at the house has huge inconstancies. Lights flicker from electric fence that's connected to a car battery for one. Locking front door that was already locked. Shotgun not loaded to begin with? What was she shooting all the shells at? Then loads last 4 shells to shoot holes in the roof to help them get in? Front door lock screws unscrew themselves from banging on the door? I'm still watching this but had to vent. I've never said "what are you doing?" More than at this movie. Ridiculous

Werewolves feels like an action film tailor-made for Frank Grillo. And it seems like they also thought, Why not bring Katrina Law from Spartacus back into action? It’s the ultimate popcorn movie—watch, enjoy, and forget as soon as you leave the theater.

Not as bad as perhaps some reviews make out. Yeah. Creature effects are practical and design of werewolves less than frightening but it's effectively Purge 2 with monsters. Stupid fun. Grab a beer on a Friday night and don't over think it.

What an awful movie. Poor writing, dialogue, acting, special fx, etc. Was this a high school project? Ugh…

Frank Grillo tries his best, but Werewolves is a surprisingly boring horror flick to watch if you need to sleep.

I applaud their attempt at actual costume. But overall, reminds me of a12 year old boys' first-person shooter game.
