Wild Rose Reviews
Not a bad movie but it felt like I had seen the story before and it was slow-going. Perhaps it just wasn't for me.
hard to understand at times
Acting and story were superb
Jessie Buckley is a movie star
Loved the story and get voice was so awesome
The movie started out a bit rough, but it led into an amazing story that was heart warming and fun. Its mainly a story about family and success, but which one to chose. In total the movie had a very deep message behind it. I would definitely recommend it.
great story great acting
Very well acted. Tough to understand accents.
Great story with great music
Loved this movie, cast was terrific.
Very well done. Hard for us American ears to understand the accent of many of the actors or would have got 5 stars. I recommend.
Music was good, storyline okay, could not understand 1/2 of what they said.
Just terrible. Walked out after 40 minutes. Unrelievedly slow. Appalling main character--dishonest, frighteningly neglectful mother, narcissistic, compulsive. If she made it to Nashville, not worth the journey with her.
Jessie Buckley has a beautiful voice - enjoyed the music.
good acting , good story ,loved the Scottish accent , good score, love some of the pedal steel cues.Couldve gone corny but I don't think it did..
Loved the music. Would’ve liked to understand more than 50% of the dialogue. Predictable plot. Good acting but subtitles please.
Outstanding! Pleasantly surprised. A feel good movie with Scottish humor and well done! Three thumbs up.
Nice take on a singers rise to fame. Extremely well acted
Didn't enjoy the first act very much. Protagonist is her own worst enemy but to a degree which loses the audience a bit. Very much enjoyed the second half of the film. Final scene was heartfelt and touching.
Wild Rose reveals that the final destination to success is not always the original vision that launched the journey!
