Wonder Reviews
extremely sugar coated. basically an offense to any real people that would be in a similar sitatuion and definitely not experience the same outcomes.
I thought it was really beautiful - and well made all around!
after a rewatch im crying so hardddddd
he's different I don't like that
DUMB! This movie is straight stupid. I hated it. Dumb story. Like womp womp he's dumb. The book was 10 times better. Like bro is a little slow and different like who cares. Idk it was dumb and I didn't like it.
Such a beautiful story about how it's okay to be different and that in the end, real friends is what counts the most. I'd be lying if I said that this movie didn't make me tear up at the end. I wish the world was a nicer place than it is, we really should learn something from this movie.
It makes you feel like you're in Auggies shoes-like you're in the story, being the main character instead of watching them. At least for me. If this sounds far-fetched, you should watch it. I would recommend it.
Muito bom, baita filme bonito
I really liked the movie, because they showed that every person has there own personality. It was also really funny, beautifull and also sad. I would highly recommend to watch that movie.
A heartfelt and genuine movie with a message for everyone, and well acted.
I didn't like this movie the first time I watched it, but I think I was blind for me to watch it like that, it's really good, beautiful and very good for kids, the bullying down, the friends high. Wonder is a good movie to watch with family, it was very weird that Netflix here in Chile rated it 13+ but then it rated it 7+, I think it's because Wonder is more for kids and family than teens. Recommend it a lot
"Wonder" is one of those emotional films that make you feel good in the end. The story of an outcast ten year-old boy with facial deformation that outdoes his schoolmates and becomes cherished in the end is a great entertainment although unrealistic. A school with only one wicked child is absolutely unusual and hard to believe. But the film is worthwhile watching, with Julia Roberts and Owen Wilson showing outstanding chemistry and nice characters.
Amazing movie! So good!
It's a family movie but it feels a lot more like a kids' movie. It's overtly saccharine and overly dramatic, but somehow still a decent movie as the tearjerker genre goes. But it doesn't feel like it's aging well, even only 7 years old. This clearly was made in an Obama "Yes we can" era. I doubt if such a cutesy hopeful film like this even gets greenlit in 2024 without some major changes to the script. And I'm increasingly getting the feeling that it's not just comedies that don't age well given changes in culture and social progress, but also sweet gooey dramas as well. Even though it did move me in points -- I'm a bit of a softie -- it just felt a little bit much. Julia Roberts was great though.
This movie is heartwarming and sweet my favorite thing about this movie is that Auggie may look different but he's definitely special in many ways and he makes really good friends ❤ 😊
Nothing much to say. This is the world's best movie, and it packs so much emotion!!! <3
The story is as good as they come.
Wonder is the best movie based on a book ever! Everything just excels in this movie and I would not change a single thing about it. 10/10
Heartwarming movie about a boy with an abnormal face who transitions from homeschool to public school. Luckily for him, his parents loved him and taught him well at home, so he ended up being smart in school. Also luckily for him, he found a friend here and there so he was able to persevere and succeed in school. It's nice that people eventually warmed up to him and treated him like a normal kid. I'm not sure that this would happen in every case for a vulnerable kid who is being bullied.
