really good movie and the acting was great and not only really funny as well must watch!!!!!!!

What a funny movie. Cera leads an all star cast in this delightful 90 minute film. The characters and story were great. This is what we need more of. 90 minute movies. Tim Treakle

I love this movie. I think this is Michael Cera's best work. The dialogue is sharp and witty and the cast is great! I laughed throughout this whole movie!!

Michael Cera mustered the source material's signature humor through his own amidst utter, self-contradicting ridicule that's fantastically unrealistic with unlikable characters. (B-)

I'm surprised at the low score on here. This movie is great.

A movie that comes across as a vechile for Cera to cut loose and show us he's more than a timid nerd. One he does for the most part. It's just a shame that the script is so uneven.

perhaps the market was oversaturated with michael cera at the time this came out, which may be why it's so poorly reviewed. frankly, i like it better than scott pilgrim by far. this is probably one of cera's best performances, and the rest of the cast doesn't disappoint either.

It has its appeal, but it just got to far fetched to be a true classic.

In what is becoming a type-cast role for Michael Cera as the soft-spoken, horny teen, Youth in Revolt continues to allow Michael to successfully stay employed in said type-cast role. While his agent may want to spread out his role flexibility a bit, Michael shows he's perfected it with intellectual, social retard, Nick Twisp. His humorous courtship of Sheeni Saunders via the rebellious Francois is adorable and just sweet enough to root for. Surrounded by a surprising cast, including Steve Buscemi, Jean Smart, Ray Liotta, Fred Willard, Justin Long and Zach Galifianakis, this ensemble lends a very strong comedic foundation to the dark story.

Gorgeous combination of different visual effects with interesting, fun and relative to anyone story force to empathize heroes and catch euphoria from watching this movie. Let's don't forget about awesome casting. I got ocean of nice fillings while watching a movie.

Hilarious when watched once every 9 years. Michael Cera has the funniest dialogue to be uttered from a 2009 teenager's mouth since ever. I don't think I've laughed harder, it ripens with age in the ways Napolean Dynamite has.

Hopefully a cult classic in the next 10 years.
