Zombieland Reviews
I remember watching this when I was 15, with a group of friends at the cinema, I found Woody Harrelson very comical in this film, I thought it was great.
Absolute humor and fun plot!
Zombieland is a fun, fast-paced mix of humor and horror. With its quirky characters and clever dialogue, it’s an entertaining take on the zombie genre
Amazing movie. Way ahead of its time. The perfect mix of comedy, action, romance and zombies. Awesome writing and perfectly casted. Can't say enough good things about this movie.
It's a modern day classic!
I love this movie but the only reason why I'm rating so low is because of Jesse Eisenberg. He is one of the most annoying actors in existence.
unique charm to this movie even if its a reused concept of the zombie apocalypse they really made it stand out good job great movie to watch
I remember enjoying this movie the first time I watched it and I’m the type of person who rewatches movies constantly because I have no life… but I tried to rewatch this and ended up skipped every scene Abigail Breslin is in because she’s one of the most smug child stars I’ve ever seen. It’s all girl power bs but the end redeems the movie. My favorite part of the movie is Jessie and Emma dancing to two of the lucky ones and that’s why it wasn’t completely worthless to me. The movie starts strong and once the girls show up it slows down and changes tone and direction. It’s just crazy how one person being poorly cast and ruin what would otherwise be a decent movie.
it's a movie for teenagers, but also you can enjoy it with a partner once you grow up, it tells you a someway probably scenario in a zombie apocalypse in a very funny way with the story of this 4 characters. As i say teenagers will find more things to relate to the 2 protagonist actors here because there is also love in the film and the "thing" about the "survival rules" which you can tell later at high school and have a lot ot talk (or the speech about world of warcraft and being freak) but you can enjoy it too in other situations. If you like zombies and comedy this is a surprisingly good movie to watch.
Okay, so I’ve pretty much seen and enjoyed most zombie films – everything from George A Romero’s offerings to the general silly B-movies featuring shuffling corpses eating people’s brains. So I was always going to put ‘Zombieland’ on my ‘to watch’ list. As soon as I heard it pretty much had A-list actors in it and a theatrical release, I was definitely looking forward to it. Plus it’s worth noting that most people who saw it loved it. I didn’t love it. Granted, I didn’t hate it. It kind of left little impression on me – neither good nor bad. Yeah, there were some humorous moments where I giggled, but, generally, I found it a bit forgettable. As the title would suggest, the world has been overrun by the living dead and there are few humans left, desperately trying to survive. Jessie Eisenberg is our ‘hero’ who talks us through the ‘rules’ of how to live in a world where most of the population is trying to eat you. His voiceover is pretty funny, but after the first act it kind of drops off when he meets his ‘love interest’ and they head to a theme park. I think the biggest flaw in it comes near the end. I’m not sure I can mention it as it probably constitutes a ‘spoiler,’ but it’s generally to do with a weird (and rather stupid) decision made by the two girls which totally goes against anything a sane person would do in a world infested by zombies. For some reason I just couldn’t really get over that and no matter how good the rest of the film was, that one moment of madness (involving doing something that literally drew the attention of every flesh-eater in Los Angeles to them). After a second viewing I do like it a little more. It’s not a bad film. It has gore. It has laughs and it has a good celebrity cameo from Bill Murray. I just wish they’d changed that one (theme park-related) aspect towards the end. It really bugs me.
A very funny and decent zombie flick still not the best though
Yhis movie was a really great experience for me. When i was really young i watched this movie, and it gave me nightmares. But ever sense i have realized that zombies are not real. And this just made me want to continue watching scary movies, because i love seeing the cool monstrous things they come up with these days. The one main part i got scared at was when the 2 girls i think got on the carnival ride that goes up and down, and when they went down the zombies always seemed to climb up the ride and try and get them. But what really got me scared was when they had to press the button the make the ride go again before they died, i had a feeling that they would be dead. But they didnt die and i got scared for nothing and acted the whole scene outbin my head. Not bad.
Very funny take on a tired genre. Love this.
Absolute must watch comedy. Enjoyable characters as well as a well thought out plot. It’s a movie you can watch over again and not get sick of.
Refreshing, comedic take on the zombie sub-genre. With surprising emotional depth, particularly in Tallahassee’s search for a twinkie in a post-apocalyptic US.
Eisenberg’s insipid rambling is utterly unbearable.
So damn good and classic. One of my favorites.
This is a great zombie movie because there's actual substance to it. It's not just entering a kill count contest. It has character growth and even heart.

This was a pretty silly movie. I went in expecting horror but it’s not scary at all, it’s mainly a comedy set in a zombie survival plot. So you got your usual zombie in the backseat scene and your attempts at a jumpscare. I mean the movie does have its funny moments. The Bill Murray part made me laugh but the rest of the movie isn’t particular humorous. It was entertaining though I will give it that, but very funny or scary so can’t give it a rating too high.
