L'Avventura (1960) David Stratton Antonioni's cool, beautifully photographed film isn't really a mystery and certainly not a thriller. Audiences over the years have delighted in deciding what it really is all about.

L'Avventura (1960) Margaret Pomeranz The film just looks great. That black and white cinematography is just divine.

Casino Royale (2006) Margaret Pomeranz This is a much more serious Bond than we've seen in many years. Daniel Craig inhabits the dark side of the secret agent really well, he is absolutely the best Bond since Connery.

Casino Royale (2006) David Stratton I think this is a very intelligent film for a Bond film, and certainly one of the most enjoyable.

Quantum of Solace (2008) Margaret Pomeranz I also was really disappointed in the villain in this because I just felt I could blow him over with a little puff of air, and that's not a good feeling with a Bond movie.

The Simpsons Movie (2007) David Stratton It's very well written and, as I say, it's consistently funny.
