Acting was poor very slow and over the top in parts, effects were decent, found the script to be off sometimes, and Dracula was way too laid back didn't even seem like he was trying to act, to confident personality lack of submersion to the role looked like he didn't even want to be in the movie, and Charlies friend was very annoying acting was crap just a weird friend.

It's a fantastic movie pretending to be a B movie. The acting is phenomenal from all of the cast. Each actor plays their part perfectly to fit the script and the design of the movie itself. The soundtrack will take you right back to the 80's, even if you weren't there. I have loved this movie since the first time I saw it a million years ago and still love watching it every time. One of my ALL-TIME favorites.

Although not exactly terrifying, it's a very good blend of horror, mood and humour. Chris Sarandon is excellent as Jerry Dandridge, the vampire next door, and the final sequence with all the gore it's outstanding. Overall, a great 80's horror flick.

This honestly felt like a retelling of “Salem’s Lot”. I thought the story was interesting. The music was terrible. I hated every second of it. Movie could have been much better I think. I especially wish it wasn’t so predictable. 3.5/5 stars.
