McHale's Navy Reviews
Sometimes a comedy isn't particularly hilarious, but it's still a fun and enjoyable ride. This film is occasionally kinda' stupid, but if you can't enjoy something stupid once in a while, you might just be telegraphing your own insecurities. The whole vibe here is relaxed, pleasant and fun. I guess they call that a "comfort movie" these days.
Fantastic movie for easy watching.
I really enjoyed this movie. It was entertaining and funny. Tim Curry 👍👍. After I'm done with this I'm going to purchase the DVD. Want to watch a fun movie instead of the same old crap, watch McHales Navy.
Funny as hell and brought back some great memories. Why people don't seem to like it makes no sense to me. I mean critics are just critical and stupid but please people. Should get a 3.5 but gotta do something here.
Amusing enough but nothing special.
Tom Arnold is the lead. If you're still not convinced to avoid this abortion of a movie, maybe knowing that this makes 105 minutes feel like three weeks will change your mind. You've been warned.
I would give this movie 0 stars if I could, but I gave it 1/2 star. Not even worth 1 star I have seen the old 60's t.v. show and it was kinda good better then this movie. I have not seen this movie in a while and I'll not watch again don't waste your time with this movie it was annoying in my opinion.
Once again Hollywood proved they can take a great 온라인카지노추천 show and turn it into a bad movie. Have all of the good ideas been used?
it's funny especially considering when it was made. My dad loved the original and liked this one. it's funny especially with the interactions between the main characters. McHale and the sailors are funny.
A campy, dumb mess, McHale's Navy is yet another failed attempt to bring a '60s television show to the big screen. When the world's second greatest terrorist sets up a base on a remote Caribbean island the US Navy recalls retired Lieutenant Commander Quinton McHale and has him put together a special ops team to investigate. The cast is packed with great comedic talent, including Tom Arnold, Dean Stockwell, Debra Messing, Tim Curry, and Bruce Campbell, but the performances are universally awful. The writing is also quite terrible; as all the jokes fall flat and the plot is incredible convoluted. McHale's Navy is an out-of-control goofball comedy that doesn't know when to let up.
Really? Who honestly let this movie be made? A pathetic comedy movie that fails to make you laugh. The cast does a bad job and the script is really bad. This whole movie is terrible. Grade: F
Did any of these critics get the fact that the movie is NOT a recreation of the show, but fast forward 35 YEARS into the future and that Tom Arnold's part is NOT SUPPOSED TO BE THE OLD MCHALE. We loved the characters. It was a silly COMEDY in line with Captain Ron, Overboard, Adams Family, etc. Again, not a recreation of the old show. DUH.
