Slow and suspensful. Really good performances.

A little slow going but overall a good movie

I love this movie, it's so entertaining to me. The scenery is probably my favorite part and the story in general, and just the way it was filmed and the song placement and choice is just amazing.

Thomas Jane nailed his part, I also liked the metaphor about being trapped like a rat in your own head, but that was not enough to save this slow burn boring movie.

Great atmosphere. The ending could have been a bit stronger, I think. Still, a solid movie experience and exploration of characters and issues!

Pretty good scenes and graphics. Plot was really good just had a few holes. Like he got a job at an old age with no hand but yet his son couldn’t get a job better than thieving? He ran away bc of the guilt of the crime but he wasn’t a suspect. Seems his death and the pregnant girlfriend is on Henry. Even if he ran away bc his girl was pregnant, would have done the same thing before him and his wife moved. Seems there was never another way for Henry as well as his decisions are based around his girlfriend. Better way should have been for the mom to realize her child is born and used to that area and doesn’t want to move. Not to mention her husband wanted to stay as well. If you didn’t, shoulda thought about that before marriage; property location all prior to conceiving a child as a child shouldn’t be moved around anyways unless necessary. To a child, life is happiness not money and maybe it is again when we are almost out of it.

Honestly it isn't so bad but I expected way more and the ending was cliché.

Some people say this is a slow movie and that “it’s too boring” but they are wrong, this movie is a masterpiece, every minute is tense and amazing. Don’t let the poor reviews bother you, this is well worth your time.

This movie is pretty boring after the first 15-20 minutes or so. Once the main guy kills his wife it’s pretty much a snooze fest. You can probably guess the plot right after he kills his wife too. Son gets mad, runs off, gets himself and his girlfriend killed, and the father has to continue living while his psyche deteriorates. A let down considering Stephen King’s novella was based on this…

Even with its slower moments, the narrative remains compelling, offering a thoughtful study of the human psyche and the choices that haunt us.

Honestly, this movie is bad. It's not on the cinematic side as much as the storyline. It was so slow of a movie I couldn't keep watching. I have been watching it for 2 days and kept falling asleep. It's very forgettable. After they killed his wife there was no more thrill to the story, nothing to make me remember anything.

Loved it, in the same vein as The Devil All The Time & The House That Jack Built

É um filme muito intrigante, ele mexe muito com seu psicológico de certa forma, e é bem nojento, bastante traumático e com certeza é um bom filme.

This movie is great, I think the problem people have with it is that it's not for them. People use movies to escape life, this is not what this movie is. It is life, and it has no mercy. One of the best movies I've seen, amazingly done.

One of the best Stephen King adaptations to date, 1922 is gothic western horror at it's most chilling, with an outstanding lead performance from Thomas Jane.

You ever see a movie where you know what is going to happen scene by scene and you never watch the film before? That is what I felt with this movie. Its not a bad watch but its not an interesting one.

What would you do if you had to keep hold of the land you had?! A farmer learns that his wife has decided to move the family and leave the farm behind, which leads him to conspire with his son to kill her, leaving to devastating consequences for the remaining family. A disturbing story of betrayal, love and murder makes this Stephen King story an intense viewing from start to finish!

This phone pulls it off! A slow burn where man's ego and regret get the better of him. Who would of thought that farm life could be so dark.

1 hour and 42 mins of my life I can't get back. Thomas Jane' acting performance was the only positive of this story that could be told in 60 seconds. Dragged out depressing drivel. Not everything written by a famous writer should be adapted into a movie
