Jaws rip off……………………

I am not sure why this movie has such poor reviews. I enjoy realistic horror/thrillers. Sure, I may not know much about scuba diving, but I feel that the movie did accurately portray the dangers of not doing research, going off with strangers, and hypoxia - which is one of the biggest concerns in diving. I have a huge fear of deep water. Not just the ocean, but water in general. Public bodies of water freak me out because of germs. Many man made bodies have been turned into waste dumps. Deep bodies in which you can’t see the bottom is terrifying to me. This movie really had me on edge. I think they did a great job and it’s one of my favorites.

It was very good at the start but then the movie just went all over the place all the deaths mixed with the hallucination was not put in the best way and the ending was left on weird spot you would think I온라인카지노추천’s a cliffhanger but it’s not, all in the end it was a good movie but I wish that they made the story more clear and Kate dying was not a good part.

47 Meters Down has an intriguing premise, but its execution falls short in terms of direction. The tension wasn’t sufficiently sharp to keep me on the edge of my seat, and while the cast is competent, their performances are somewhat underwhelming. The movie itself also suffers from a touch of corniness. Grading: C-

Mandy's character a grown woman acting like she's 12. Script sucks. Overall a waste of time

Definetly not the best shark movie, but not the worst. It holds a weak plot and relies on jump scares for a more "thrilling" experience

As far as shark movies go, 47 Meters Down isn’t too bad of an option to watch. Far from great but very few shark movies are.

Leave for the movie Come for Mandy moore This movie was so disappointing I had to write my first review. Two girls of which half know how to scuba dive. Agree to lock in a shark cage (think jaws) when they get stranded on the ocean floor you get no story about what's going on at the oceans surface. You don't know if they are left for dead or a rescue is underway. Seems like a cheaply made film. Camera man cant get the shots right underwater because the cage is always in his way. once you say to yourself why would that character say something like that you'll realize the movies direction. If this is the only DVD left in blockbuster I still wouldn't watch it

This movie was ok…. I watched it with my sister and we both were scared at some times but not a lot of shark action happened in the first half. Also… THEY SHOULDVE KEPT THE ENDING WHERE SHE WAS HALLUCINATING BC IT ADDED AN EARY FEEL TO IT!!!! If they kept the ending as that I would’ve given it 4 stars…

I haven't seen this movie, but as a long time Scuba Diver, I dismissed this one based on the name alone. Maximum depth to non mixed gas diving maxes out at 120 Feet. "47 meters" in a cage means that the likelihood of coming back is extremely UN-likely, as 47 meters converts to 154.199 feet (34.199 ft (1 standard atmosphere) deeper than physics allow) meaning that nitrogen narcosis would finish these divers long before the sharks got to them.

So dissappointed, I'm an easy scare, but this movie is so DULL and Boring. If you need help sleeping, buy this movie and watch it close to bedtime, it will put you right to sleep! What a waste of time. I plan to watch the sequel I hear it's much better! The acting was good however, it was just the lack of plot and not one SCARE!

Even at 90 minutes, it feels too long (backstory is overrated) and it never really evolves past jump scares.

I always finish a movie that I start no matter how bad it is. Maybe I came in with high expectations as folks were saying that this movie was better than Fall in the comments section for Fall; I liked Fall. Mandy Moore is an awesome singer but her screaming is like listening to a dog being dragged by a truck and all she does is scream 😵‍💫 the whole movie. Maybe I've seen too many survival movies and they are all just becoming to be formulaic for me. I dunno. I'd still recommend it as a good thriller.

I debated between giving this movie 2.5 and 3 stars. I eventually settled on 2.5. For the most part this movie was good. I think the last half hour of the movie was kind of disjointed though. I wasn't sure if any of the two attempted rescues were hallucinations or not. Maybe that's the point, but I really dislike movies that don't have a very clear ending. This was just kind of ok for me based on the so-so ending.
