I would definitely recommend it to kids who play Minecraft and the only downside of the movie is that in the characters hair you can see the green screen 9.5 stars

A Minecraft Movie is an amazing movie! It was hilarious and the critics don’t know what they are talking about since they are wrong. I want to watch it a second time because that’s how much I enjoyed it!

I’m disappointed to say this, but I find that Jack Black’s legendary stardom was too big of a distraction for me to enjoy this film. His role as Claptrap from Borderlands far overshadowed his attempt at Steve, and when I hear his voice I can’t help but expect a goofy little robot rolling in on one wheel! Borderlands reminded me of a time when science fiction transported us into a distant world, so we could escape the Cold War for a while. Eli Roth is the spiritual successor to George Lucas, and I just feel lucky that I was able to live through both genre defining eras. That being said, the sex scene shared between Claptrap and Jason Momoa from the Minecraft movie was not the post credit scene my nephew was expecting. All together, not my worst jerk. 6 out of 10.

Horrible. Walked out 30 minutes into the movie. Perfect example of Hollywoods lack of imagination and creativity.

Extremely stupid movie.

Such a fun, silly movie. Saw it with my grandkids (9&6) and they *loved* it! I’d go see it again. You don’t have to know anything about Minecraft the game to enjoy this movie. Highly recommended ❤️
