I really enjoyed learning about Celine Dion's life and career. I am a fan of her music, but I didn't know anything about her beyond the tabloid headlines about her marriage to her much-older husband. I thought this was a believable and sensitive portrayal of not just a superstar but a woman, mom, sister, and daughter.

Overall, while Aline tells an uplifting journey with fun, quirky or romantic moments, it also has moments that are forced and cliché.  The pacing is significantly up and down, radically changing from something exciting to something that's dull and predictable.  The choice to use an adult head for the younger portion of the back story in the first act is also an unwise choice.  Considering the film is an unofficial biopic of the life of Celine Dion, I hoped for something far more touching and heartfelt.

Frankly, I don t understand the reviewer. This is a very good movie, at the border of the biopic. It s a great story, very close to Céline Dion's story. And it just works! I really enjoyed it. Sometimes, you have the impression the critics' crowd follow the first 2-3 reviews.

Fantastic movie, a really like the cast especially the actress that portrays Celine :) which is also the director and the writer.

Un film unique en tous les senses, cet oeuvre est très interessante de regarder, même s'il y a un peu des choses simples sur le scénario (les celèbres clichés du genre). La mise-en-scène est un peu pressée, mais ce n'est pas un grand problème pour ce qu'il regarde le film. Le vrai et le plus incroyable point de l'histoire est le performance de Valérie Lemercier (son travail comme réalisatrice est bon, mais pas grand chose), elle a créee une belle homage par Céline Dion et son choix d'interpreter la chanteuse du 5 jusqu'à aujourd'hui était très bizarre, mais aussi très charmante qui avait tourné ce film quelque chose bonne de regarder plus qu'une fois.

A joyous celebration. What a wonderful theatrical experience.
