Honestly in contention for the worst movie of the 2020s... just complete dogshit

This film is too long. The scenes with Voze or Dillenbeck are overlong duds. Those flawed scenes outweigh various amenable scenes.

Amsterdam was difficult to follow the first time I watched it. It all came together the second time in 2025 when we are faced with the rich and powerful trying to change the US government to make themselves even more rich and powerful. I would like to add I also really enjoyed the movie.

A real far fetched bullshit plot with confusing acting. Just an excuse for interracial coupling. Avoid at all costs.

Nauseatingly bad movie. Also. Why does Denzel’s son keep getting acting roles? He’s gotta be one of the worst actors I’ve ever seen.

This is a gem and I am delighted that I didn't view the full cast list first, so that it was marvelously fun as everyone made their appearances in the story. With one of the stars, bemusing that I had to keep asking myself "is that really who I think it is?" even though certain. Everyone played their roles/characters perfectly. Loved the pace, loved the tone, the topic(s), the unique take on the genre. Everything. As with a few other films, so glad that I wasn't swayed by negative reviews and decided to see what I thought of it. I don't know what to think of some of the negative reviewers - the mind boggles. I can be a harsh critic (going by how much is out there that no one could pay me to watch past 1 - 5 minutes, going by a few stinkers that I stubbornly and with misguided optimism torturously stayed with to the end, and going by what I've seen others watch and defend which I refused to waste another minute on with them -due to it being absolute trash). Hah

A wonderful movie about love and friendship set against the political and social events that took place between the two world wars. Great casting and acting with a fascinating plot.

Pay no attention to the "critics". This is one of the best movies of our generation.

I watched less that a quarter of the movie, I hate movies of dim settings for retrospection or recreation of past events and there were some quite disgusting, brutal scenes. Real, not fictional events, from early last century is not my preference, especially anyting cnnected with the wars.

I’d say it was a mid tier movie. The film is filled to the brim with A list actors / actresses and I think that really made the movie better. Their acting abilities really shined in this movie. The plot was decent but a bit slower than other movies.

Not sure if these critics are just completely out of their gourds or what but this is a phenomenal film and I am baffled by all of the vitriol it received.

The overstuffed cast, tone and storylines all pinball around, rarely meeting on the same plane. There's a good movie in here...somewhere. Also, a movie shouldn't blunt it's third act pontification with a stoner gag.

32 ?!!! How the heck did it only get a 32 ???? Amazing cast! Great writing and intriguing plot! And did you know that it's actually based on a true story? 演员阵容豪华没得说，但是这个狗屎哗情真的就尼玛离谱，可以总结为发生了某一件事，主角团去找A，A说得找B，B说你得去找C。好好好，这哗情节奏也是真的没谁了，这么多年来唯一一璐看到还剩50min看璐下去的电影，太尼玛垃圾了，垃圾！！！
