Armageddon Time Reviews
Great .. very weak ending best wait till this comes out on Netflix
Would have liked a happier ending.
the ending could have been better.
powerful family drama with an all star cast. brilliant acting
Well, I got a bit bored watching it. It reminded me more of the 70's not the 80's. We didn't have big, loud cars. They got much more smaller in the 80's. And the clothes did not look like that either. About the only thing I felt was correct was Reagan was president. I guess the east coast was much more different than the west coast was during that time. I was in my 20's so maybe that's why I felt it didn't reflect the 80's as I remember it
The grandfather tells the boy to be a mensch, tell the truth and protect those in need. He doesn't, his privilege protects him.
I loved the actors Anthony Hopkins, especially The message of the movie was a great one, however, poorly written. I believe it lacked some content in its presentation to the point that when it was over I said, "Is that it?". I just wished it was written to make the message stronger. It was weak. If you are curious, please watch it.
Excellent cast… but storyline is a little slow. But worth a watch
The movie's beginning showed great promise but then unfortunately fizzled out.
It was pretty good, but left you hanging at the end.
Performance of Anthony Perkins and both young actors. I was stunned and sat and sobbed at the end of the movie. All should be up for awards for their performance!!
Not satisfied not a good ending.
Presents many issues and provides no neatly resolved answers. Human nature is represented in all permutations with all the flaws and vulnerabilities and no glossy happy outcome! Very compelling!
Movie was terrible! Depressing Only saving element was great acting by Anthony Hopkins
Didnt like the ending. Good acting from all actors
This movie was heartwarming and heartbreaking Brilliant! Deep! A slice of life, with so much wisdom! Im blown away! Its carefully paced, so you can digest all the nuances of wisdom. The colors are muted, so you feel the life of a Jewish family in Queens in the late 70's. Anthony Hopkins and Anne Hathaway are easy to like and feel. The 2 young boys are convincing. It was 2 hours long, but seemed short, to me.
Didn't care for the ending. Just left it hanging
Anne Hathaway is miscast. Anthony Hopkins is excellent, as always. Don't feel the movie accomplishes a proper ending. Was disappointed.
Anticlimactic. Performances lacking
Long, boring waste of talent. Don’t waste your money.
