Dangerous and Delicious!

On its face-the concept and Story are captivating. Unfortunately, the writing was so awfully elementary and spotty for lack of a better description . Dear screenwriter- find another profession

Simply horrible in subject and film quality.

Some things just shouldn’t be written.

Strange love story about cannibals falling in love while they travel the US eating people raw lol they don't even cook them! Totally unrealistic. I went in thinking it was going to be a horror movie but it's not.

This movie is different in a refreshing way that I really liked. It’s pretty slow, and I could see some thinking that this movie is a little weird. My wife thought it was boring. But if you like movies that are unique and don’t explore topics in the basic way, this movie would probably be great to you. My overall impressions were that this movie was unique, deep, and creative.

Love the movie, hate the ending. In my head it ended at the meadow right before they decided to get a job!! IK it's based on a book so maybe the ending happened more gracefully there but I fucking hated it, and not just because it was 'sad'. I think it brought no substance, wasn't built up or climaxed or logical, just sort of added almost as a shock value. like "just snatch all the good people out of the story for the sake of it".

A truly twisted Romeo and Juliet story that horrifies you and pulls on the heart strings at the same time. This film fills you with conflicting emotions from the stellar cast and without spoiling anything the way this film ends... Damn. I can't recommend this film enough.

This film delivers. In my opinion, this is Timothée Chalamet’s finest film performance, bolstered all the more by leading lady Taylor Russell’s stellar and dynamic choices as Maren. A heartbreaking tale of innate cannibalism, this complicated and horrifying love story is one of the more romantic films I’ve seen in some time. It’s difficult to write about this film without spoiling it entirely, but as someone who enjoys both horror and romance, I found this movie to be both odd and brilliant. Is it a masterpiece? Possibly. I think time will see this become a cult gem. So get in on the know now! Can you stomach this must-see film? It’s certainly not for everyone, but those who can swallow what it has to say about love and companionship will no doubt be rewarded.

Absolutely wonderful. Just when you think they can't take the vampire genre any further, they make this road movie about two star crossed lovers. This is genuinely a low budget masterpiece. Mark Rylance is terrifying, simply terrifying, as an older eater who adopts Russell as his protoge. Taylor Russell is gorgeous as the young vampire uncertain of her desires and her destiny. The violence is shocking and quite graphic. You would need to be ready to expect this.

Equal parts eerie and emotional, Bones and All is a fairly gnarly dramatic thriller with beautiful cinematography, great performances and taut direction, but the nature of the violent graphic imagery will turn some folks away and that's alright. It's not a favorite of mine, but I do think this movie deserves more love.

The perfect balance between horror and romance. The masterpiece I never knew I needed.

This film captures the hauntingly familiar need to be seen, accepted and loved. What would you do for love?

Starring Timothée Chalamet, "Bones and All" was a film that I was eagerly anticipating, yet unfortunately missed seeing in theaters. Determined not to miss out, I sought to catch it on streaming platforms. Chalamet always delivers a stellar performance in any role he takes on. However, a great performance from him doesn't automatically make a movie worthwhile. It's essential to consider the quality of the script and overall storytelling. The movie unfolds in a world populated by hybrid zombies who possess cognitive abilities and prey on the living. It's a concept that initially seemed intriguing but ultimately left me feeling underwhelmed. Despite my admiration for Chalamet's acting prowess, this particular film failed to leave a positive impression, largely due to weak writing. "Bones and All" turned out to be a bizarre zombie romance that felt unnecessary and lacked depth. While Chalamet remains one of my favorite actors, this film left much to be desired.

I think that this is gorgeous. The thought of being so in love with someone you want to be consumed and consume them is so disturbing yet beautiful, the way it was portrayed in this film was amazing.

Loved this one! Beautifully filmed, visceral, cannibal love story with a gutting conclusion.

This story has an interesting premise and compelling characters. If you're looking for a monster love story, this might be worth a watch.

This movie has a horrible premise that doesn't make sense. Rules of this world - cannibals exist and they have to eat people (but they also don't have too, as they can eat anything else as well, making the main characters look like just immature kids who has to get what they want) - cannibals have the power of super smell - cannibals have the power to attack people in public and not have anyone notice - cannibals have the power to avoid all police with the mildest efforts (Being chased by the cops? just change your last name! they'll forget all about yah) - cannibals are invisible - they're allowed to walk around covered in blood and no one will notice Make this make sense. I hate this. This movie seriously suffers from horrid writing. As for positives, I guess acting was good? They really represented their 2-dimensional characters very well.

this was horrifying and beautiful

One of the worst films of the year. The writing feels forced without any real knowledge of what actual people act like. Seems to be another attempt at explaining away behavior that isn't acceptable in society and normalizing it. There are a variety of themes throughout the movie and each one was handled ineptly. Anyone saying this is a deep movie needs their head checked, this was a massive time waster.
