Superb story combined with detailed characters and a healthy dose of suspense. Represented the Catholic church and various philosophical themes to a tee. Would most definitely recommend.

Thought provoking and relevant to current time

Excellent film that was different than I expected. Actually suspenseful and intriguing. Not being a catholic it was fascinating to see how every little thing the clergy did had some specific procedure.

Solid film that keeps your interest throughout. For those of us not of the Catholic faith, the movie was not only entertainment, but educational as well.

The acting was stellar. I loved how the storyline didn't shy away from historical issues in the Catholic Church, and how it showed that in any organization you have very different personalities trying to come to consensus. And in the midst of the intricacies of human nature, there are those trying to adhere to the founding principles of an organization, while also adapting to the modern needs of those they serve.

A little slow at times but the performance never loses your interest. Great movie.

I personally watched it because it seemed like a more intense Two Popes(great movie) but it turned out to be a suspenseful story of the politics behind picking a Pope. What I will add is that I wanted more character development or possibly more about the Pope that's padded and his relationship with others. An extra 20 minutes of character development or putting a bow on what the future of Benítez will face would add enough substance to make it a 5 star.

Great movie. Lots of twists and turns photography and music are fantastic. Fantastic. I expect a lot of awards out of this show.

I loved the movie and found it exceptional on many levels. The storyline was contemporary, yet centuries old, and the internal politics were intreguing and suspenseful.
