Besides wasting Ryan Reynolds and Gary Oldman, what's really criminal is the haircut Kevin Costner had to endure.

Outstanding suspense action and plot. Not exactly sophisticated or remotely realistic, nonetheless it delivers precisely the value and content you want out of a movie like this.

Not as bad as the critics make out. This is a decent action movie (with an absurdly generic title... should have been Jericho or something, anything else). It could have been elevated to a great action movie with, say, Mickey Rourke in the main role instead of Costner... and maybe Javier Bardem instead of the mediocre baddie. Oh, well. But apart from a couple of eye rollers in the script and a little too much effort put into keeping the pace up, it was interesting and easy to watch.

I thnk the biggest problem here is that reynolds should have been jerico and costner the agent who died Costner just isnt believable as some evil human being. But overall its a good film for a night.

Criminal is considerably better than what the critics and most audience reviews would have you believe. I usually avoid movies with an audience rating less than 50%, but this was close to that and reading some of the positive reviews, suggested the critique was overly harsh. Overall, a pretty decent action / thriller with SciFi overtones. Solid cast including Kevin Costner (who was nowhere near as bad as some of the e reviews indicated), Gary Oldman, Tommy Lee Jones and Gal Gadot. Well worth your time if you like spy thrillers with a twist.

Great movie with an allstar cast. 30% ... ??? .WTAF. different role for Costner , but he nailed it. A very believable character. A little slow in parts , but these days , I'd prefer that to scenes of killing and carnage... 8/10 tomoatos

This is in not an A-title, but I don't get all the bad reviews. Really liked this one. One of Costners better performances from the 2010s era. Of course, the whole premise of the story is ludicrous, but that aside, it got great character development, decent action and a superb soundtrack. After watching it, I even bought in on BluRay. I can recommend it.

This movie was awesome, I like the movie, the actors. I really enjoy this movie it's twists and turns. Reminds me of the ark of the covenant movie, if anyone of the good or bad guys had been even slightly smart, they would have checked his office first and found the guy they were looking for. NRJ.

Didn't really like this one. Probably the first or one of the first Kevin Costner movies i disliked. It had a nice concept but they didn't know what to do with it. Seems like the movie didn't know what it wanted to be either.

When they first were casting they wanted Tommy Lee Jones to be the FBI bloodhound; but he said I'm always the agent, so they made him Dr. Franks. When they went to Gary Oldman, they asked him to play the doctor; but he said I'm always the doctor, so they made him the FBI guy !!

Super underrated. It's a good sci-fi/action/adventure drama all in one and definitely worth a watch. Just ignore the generic and cheapness to some of the writing and you're good

Good idea for a story, but the plot, especially the goals of the various characters, could have been made clearer, a little more fine-tuned. I did not realize what everyone wanted to get ahold of (and why) till late in the movie.

Gal Gadot made it for me. Skilled actress with a range of dimensions. Bonus: she opposes terrorist scum.
