Entertaining all the way. Maybe not the greatest but classic. Easy watch & many laughs.

Really good action flick. Some parts have aged a bit, but overall it' still highly entertaining. The action is kinda like a combination of John Woo's style and Sam Raimi's style. One of Rodriguez's best movies. The best of the el mariachi trilogy.

I found out so surprising to discover that Tarantino did not make this one! Fantastic work from Robert R, a really fun watch! Yes it is far fetched, but that makes it fun to watch and very entertaining with a good storyline and plot twist to back it up.

It's a fun watch nothing to take too serious, but I definitely recommend.

Haven't seen this movie in years and it was amazing watching it after so long. Such a fun movie and Banderas was so good!

The action scenes are cheesy and the bad guys can't aim their guns to save their lives. The dialogue is entertaining though. Banderas and Hayek are both great.

Now that's freaking awesome the final scene also reveals quite a shocking twist making this mariachi's journey that much more personal The fun never lets up; even if the action settles down in certain moments for drama it's the sizzling chemistry of Hayek and Banderas that keeps us glued to the intense endeavor Ttrue there may be more style than substance But this still remains one of Rodriguez's earliest and solid successes It’s still a memorable entry in his huge roster of the Mexican cinema landscape

A "not to be taken seriously" shoot 'em up movie about a drug lord and an assassin. Just a showcase for beautiful people.

Well acted, paced, good story and writing, very little to dislike.

If the plot is incredibly thin, if the connection to its predecessor is confusing and if much of the action is completely unnecessary, the movie still works. It benefits from exciting direction from Robert Rodriguez, energetic performances from the actors, beautiful visuals and impressively-shot, tense and explosively bloody action sequences.

Robert Rodriguez and Antonio Banderas are firing on all cylinders in this one! So slick, so stylish. It's phenomenal!

Cheesy but Awesome! Great performance, okay story, good soundtrack and a lot of explosions. What more can you ask for.
