A good "slow" Independent American Film about lonely women and men

Fair enough as a base for a dating-discussion.

I think that this movie was fun, honest, flawed, and atypical. I thought Anna Thompson was delightful and sexy.

Nice feel-good movie.

I've got much more impressed the first time I watched it some years ago, but still works for me...

And Amos Kollek makes me proud being Israeli.

Kollek's fondness for whimsical plot turns adds still more random elements to a movie that at times seems edited by a blindfolded monkey.

New York through the eye of Amos Kollek is always a special treat. The grain and the naked off-persona characters may leaves us breathless or irritated, but I dig it.
