This movie is definetly not a masterpiece, but if you are a fan of either a nightmare on elm street or Friday the 13th, which I am for both, then chances are you will absolutely love this movie! The fights between Freddy and Jason are awesome, and the kills are amazing! A must watch for fans

Awesome movie Freddy vs Jason is a fun movie that delivers a fight between the two killers in both dream and real worlds while the main characters are bad but the Freddy and Jason going on a killing spree that’s good and fight to the death 8/10 wish there was a sequel

This film actually looks great, probably the best of both franchises. The pace is excellent with only momentary dull moments. Some of the effects are really cheesy but, for me, that adds to the enjoyment. There is lots of violence but not especially gory. The dropped frame effect is super annoying. The characters are engaging and this is also down to the excellent casting. The actual versus dream fight is pretty farcical and one-sided which was a shame. The real world versus fight was much better with a great conclusion. It’s fun overall and entertaining but far from the best of either franchise.

I think it’s an incredible movie. I think people look too deep into it but if you love both franchises, the action scenes the story everything is pretty well done. Honestly, it’s up there as one of my favorite horror movies. It’s the perfect balance of comedy/horror you’ll see in early 2000s Movies people forget it’s not meant to replace anything. It’s simply a homage.

Freddy vs. Jason is not a masterpiece of cinema, but as celebration of two massive horror franchises and as a match-up between two incredible horror icons, it's an absolute blast! The movie is full of carnage candy, while Robert Englund gives his best performance as Krueger since Dream Warriors. Many of the characters are entertaining and well-acted, especially Monica Kenna. Jason certainly could have been better and there are some cheesy moments, but I have a blast everytime I watch it!

Freddy vs. Jason (2003), 7/10 stars. Robert Englund as Freddy Krueger and Jason Voorhees try to get this film back on track. The fan discussion Jason kills Freddy when Lori clearly decapitates Freddy and he is like nothing happened and winks. They should have made an extended cut with the extra scenes on the DVD, with the original ending and the ending of the finished version of the film. The beautifuls girls Monica Keena, my favorite from this film Katharine Isabelle who came from doing the film Ginger Snap (2000) and Carrie (2002), Evangeline Lilly who was an extra. Katharine Isabelle and Brendan Fletcher appeared in several films together. The characters were written like hateful characters from the Friday The 13th movies, all deserving to die, Kia Waterson, Charlie Linderman, Gibb Smith, Deputy Scott Stubbs, Bill Freeburg, Trey Cooper, Blake. The music from that era that they used in the movie was mediocre. There were several drafts like . Nightmare 13: Freddy Meets Jason (3.5/5) . FREDDY VS JASON A Screenplay by: Peter Briggs (3/5) . Freddy vs Jason script Damian Shannon and Mark Swift (3/5) . FREDDY VS. JASON Written by Jonathan Aibel & Glenn Berger December 1, 1998 Third Draft (2.5/5) . "FREDDY VS. JASON" Written by Mark Protosevich 2000 (2.5/5) . JASON VS. FREDDY by. Brannon Braga and Ronald D. Moore (2.5/5). Jeff Katz's Freddy vs. Jason vs. Ash comics really suck. They're only saved by Freddy and Jason but This Katz guy is in love with Ash Williams, in A Nightmare on Elm Street (1984), Evil Dead is just a movie that bores Nancy Thompson to sleep. FREDDY VS. JASON VS. ASH. (3/5) Freddy vs Jason vs Ash The Nightmare Warriors (3/5).

While an impressive feat pitting two massive horror icons the film does have the occasional plot hole and characters being hit a tiny bit and going really far as well as buffing Freddy it's still enjoyable.

It's a very clever way of bringing the two mythologies together, the writing and acting are pretty good, and the characters are actually likeable

Finally, we get to see a crossover between two iconic horror characters and they did not hold back with each other. This was an epic crossover and the film was just really entertaining to watch, especially when they were doing hand to hand combat. I wish they would do more crossovers like this because it pulls the audience in. I espescially loved the part when they used each others weapons at the end of the movie. Good ending, I think everyone thought that Jason was going to win this fight and he did just that.

This is honestly the best crossover fight movies I've ever seen in my life Freddy vs Jason is amazing even if it didn't age well I still love Robert Englund's performance as Freddy Krueger I highly recommend watching it 😉👍

A excellent example of a modern crossover.

This movie isn’t at all a masterpiece… but it is able to deliver what it promises, a clash between two of the most iconic horror villains (or protagonists, depending on the pov). The ad lib sucks, the lighting has its issues alongside the editing, but when Freddy and Jason start going hand to hand, and also killing other people along the way, it gets really good. Forget developed characters and / or a fleshed out story, overall it’s more of the same when it comes to the slasher genre, but it isnt cheesy, and it merges the two universes well enough to make it fun. For what the horror genre, in general, was going through at the time this movie came out, this must’ve felt like a nice change, even if it reuses the tropes that it’s known for. And finally, if this movie came out theses days, with all the team-up’s, crossovers and cameos, it would’ve blown up. It, perhaps, can be said, was ahead of its time.
