Easily a classic in my book that I can throw on around Halloween and get my decorating done. I love nostalgic movies that bring back characters but you have to do it right. This had the story and characters you can relate to. This had the creep factor but made you laugh as well. I’m glad this one pulled from the original movies and not the weird in between movie that made no sense. Bill Murray has always been a favorite and having him pop back in was a great way to tie this movie to the oldies we all love and know. Will be watching this one for years to come.

This is how a sequel/passing of the touch movie should be done it hits all those famiar notes the right amount of nostalgia without being a wink wink moment and introducing the next generation and I grew up with the original movies and the real Ghostbusters cartoon

Its not that nostalgic until the end... It's worth a watch

They tried to remake the entire plot of the first movie but with kids and a quirky step dad, zero originality or care for expanding the world of ghostbusters. It does not have a comedic charm that the original movies had, this is a movie meant for iPad kids with no attention span who've never seen the originals.

You should watch the first Ghostbusters and this Ghostbusters and forget any of the others ever happened in between which were horrible. This is more of a kid-centered remake, but lovable with a family friendly feel that honors the first. Paul Rudd leads the way on carrying this vibe.

My favourite Ghostbusters movie so far! The return of the old cast was one of the best decisions ever because I loved that! The CGI is very good. The new cast is also likeable, but not as charming as the originals. The ending is beautiful and emotional. The action/chase scene with the car is the best scene of the movie in my opinion. The movie does feel slow at points and there are a few unlikeable characters. The story is almost the same as the first one and I wanted to see something new. Overall, a really fun movie and I’m very excited for Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire (I bought it a few days ago on dvd)

Ghostbusters: Afterlife is a great return to form for the Ghostbusters franchise.

This movie is all I wanted out of it and more. It does a great job at balancing comedy and action while also having the ghostbuster formula that everyone wanted after the 2016 debacle. This movie has a great story and amazing acting from the kids. I give it a 82%

Nostalgia cannot be an excuse to recycle used material. No meat; terribly disconnected from what made the originals so uniquely adult. The good, comedic acting/actors and a few cute ghosts is the only thing that saved this film from receiving a mere half star.

The first hour was very slow paced. Just another pointless sequel in a formerly entertaining franchise which should have stayed inactive if this is the best they can do. Painful watch, even worse than the previous movie.

Excellent movie. The setting change from the city to the country plays right into the passing of the guard.

I wanted to see this after the reviews in the hopes that it might be better than the next film, but this one too let me down. I was frustrated with the plot and actions / motivations of the characters. Although they tried to bring back so much from the old movie, it just doesn't hold a candle to it. It's sad considering the sinister side of the OG 80s film had an evil side to it that made you actually worried. This on the other hand was not worrisome at all. Perhaps they made it that way so more kids could watch? I was also frustrated that they said they were in OK, but really they filmed it all in CAN. I also was not a fan of the cast despite them doing an adequate job. SLC DVD.

Just wonderful. I cannot see how better they could have done this. Yes sentimental, but beautifully done.
