Algumas sequências não precisavam existir. E essa é uma delas. Não apenas porque o segundo capítulo da "Trilogia do Poderoso Chefão" (1972-1990) foi uma perfeita conclusão do primeiro, mas também porque o terceiro não agrega nada novo ou, até mesmo, interessante à história da Família Corleone, além de ser um filme marcado por inconsistências de tom e atuações questionáveis. Visualmente, "O Poderoso Chefão: Parte III" é um filme lindo. Por outro lado, no âmbito narrativo, falha em justificar sua existência e encerra a trilogia nos deixando com a sensação de que nós consumimos algo que não precisávamos, como aquele última fatia que a nós comemos no rodízio de pizzas e nos deixa passando mal a noite inteira.

Even thought it is different from first 2 parts it is great it shows Michael wanting to legalize his bussines as much as possible and find new Godfather knowing his time is almost over it is shame they could never make 4th part about Vincent

Complex suspense scenes: Some say the film contains one of the most complexly layered suspense scenes ever filmed. Personal film: Some say Part III is a much more personal film than the first two, with a political and emotional engine that is Coppola's alone. Fresh score: The film has a fresh score. However, some say that the film's dialogue and overall story are less inspired than the previous two, and that the film's finale is flawed. Others say that the film's final movement is so confusing that it's unclear where one of the intrigues is occurring.

The last 5 minutes of this film deserves 10 stars. Other than that, this film is bang average after 2 of the greatest films ever made.

Loved the first two more but this one was great too. A very unexpected ending.

people overrate these movies SOOOOOO MUCH and people say that ts one is the worse one acting like all of these films ARE NOT EQUALLY ASS but ts one is the shortest of the trilogy I think so that’s why I think it’s the best one in the trilogy but it’s still long and ass don’t get me wrong

Não sei porque não gostam desse filme, obvil que não é melhor que o 1 mas ouso dizer que gostei mais desse do que o 2, ele é bem trágico, eu pensava que o Michael ia morrer mas não, eu esperava que o final fosse trágico e foi mais trágico que eu pensava

Flat, poorly directed and edited. Script is dull and obvious. It seems like everyone decided to take the money and then not show up emotionally. Coppola's typical nepotism, using his inexperienced daughter Sophia as a supporting actress, further subtracts from the film. Waste of time!!!!!!

The first two are iconic and hard to equal, but it sure seemed like this one didn't even try. Talk about flat performances all around. Enough of the patronizing praise.

Not everybody feels the same about this movie I enjoyed it and love it I think it's the weakest out of the three but out of Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, and LeBron James one of them has to be the "worst" right? I think this film is wrongly hated and if you've watched the other two this is a good ending and you should watch this movie.

Um drama comovente que finaliza a trilogia de forma trágica mas esperada.

OK, so this is probably the least good of the trilogy. Doesn't make it a bad movie in my book and I still enjoy it once every year or two when I can stream it. Don't get all the negatives about Sofia Coppola either; she's ok in this and has rightly gone on to be a very well respected industry figure since. I do wonder what the reviews for this would be like if Godfather 1/2 hadn't been made ( in my view two of the best movies ever made.) I pay to see many movies each year that give me less satisfaction than Godfather part 3

A great ending for a legendary saga. Surely the worst of the three, but still a great movie. A great Andy Garcia takes the spotlight here.

A great end to a great trilogy

One of the worst (or at least more famous) casting decisions in cinema... You know who. It made this unnecesary third installment a lot more questionable. I don't even feel it as part of The Godfather saga

Could of been good but ruined by the casting decisions and dialogue. Garcia, Sophia Coppola, and Hamilton just killed the film

The most underrated movie of all time.

Oh lord. What a damn shame. Do yourself a favor and stop at the second movie while it still makes sense. Believe me, you don't want to remember Michael like this.
