“Hanging Up” has plenty to say, but gets bogged down with cliché. The most important thing to take from the film is that regardless of what success you may find in life, you should never forget where you came from

considering the movie's plot involves lots of crying over wrecked birthday parties and stolen stuffing recipes, most guys -- and more than a few women as well -- probably wouldn't want to know what they're missing.
