Rambo makes a bold and bloody return. The violence is so graphic that it overshadows every other aspect of the movie. Yet, at the center of the film is a compelling story about overcoming one's own demons. Our old war dog, Rambo, has come a long way since the 1982 original.

"Live for nothing, or die for somthing".

This movie is supposed to be an all out action movie, and was more than an action movie, Very satisfying fights where very bad people die in different ways, one of the best action movies.

Rambo (2008) is what you want from an action picture, the film is absolutely breathtaking and the violence is certainly fantastic. Directed by Stallone I was wary but this is his vision this is HIS John Rambo film and its truly extraordinary. This film is filled with some great acting, some absolutely disgusting antagonists and overall some very nice action (kills, violence). The ending is just the cherry on top. The thing which advances this Rambo films from the others is a: the absolute carnage, b: Stallone's wonderful vision and c: The no forced and not needed scenes, in other Rambo films I catch myself thinking "is this needed" but not in Stallone's film as the runtime is short and snappy! The Mercenaries was also a well enjoyed addition and I could really see myself more gripped with the additional team. The whole movie felt like a Call Of Duty mission and that's another Plus I have.

I love this movie. It makes me angry at the same times. I love all the action. It makes me want to go over there and actually free those people. The real people that this movie represents the Burma freedom fighters. Sylvester Stallone does an awesome job as usual. He is just amazing and really gets you into his character. Definitely like watching this one over and over even though it gets me angry every single time cuz I feel for the people of Burma but definitely action-packed

Pretty good movie, the bible bashers are annoying especially Michael (Paul Schuzle.) But Lewis (Graham McTavish) is especially horrendous. All he does is run his mouth and be obnoxious but if your binging Rambo it's definitely worth watching. There's also more gore in this one compared to the other three.

Wow, so much better than I expected, Stallone had in the '80s, he had it during this movie, and he has it now.

With an awesome and refreshing return for Sylvester Stallone, some great directing from him, the rambo character being just as memorable and awesome as ever, some of the greatest action sequences in the 2000, and some great violence and gore effects, make rambo an incredible return for the character in an awesome modernized version.

A good tribute to the first and second films. Its not about dialect. Its about character, silent actions and necessity. Good watch for war gore.

Good movie! Realistic in the killings, most bloody Rambo movie of all the Rambo movies.

Rambo's latest adventure left me torn between nostalgia and disappointment. Brian Tyler's amazing soundtrack pays homage to the franchise's roots, but it couldn't save this film from its flaws. As a die-hard fan of the original trilogy, I found myself longing for the raw intensity that made those films classics. The new installment took itself too seriously, lacking the humor and lightness that could have balanced its over-the-top action. Annoying side characters cluttered the storyline, distracting from the iconic character we all came to see. The film's excessive approach felt forced, and it wasn't even enjoyable. A touch of comedy or a more nuanced plot could have elevated the experience. It's a shame to witness a series with such potential fall short, especially for someone who cherishes the brilliance of Rambo's origins. In the end, this installment failed to capture the essence that made the original my all-time favorite.

Very good movie Silvestre Stallone hasn't lost his edge a lot of action and what really happens in these countries don't know why the ratings are low but in my opinion one of his best!!

Gory, action packed, very real setting (Myanmar civil war rages to this day) & very real war scenes. It might not have an intricate plot but one isn't always needed. Good stuff!

Hell yeah! Rambo is back baby.

If you're watching it for any other purpose than to see a legend keep doing legendary stuff you're probably going to be disappointed. Movie glows well, plenty of action and I was surprised with the interpersonal struggle the main character faced and somewhat overcame. Great movie overall.

I don't really know what this is. The early part of the movie is largely depressing, essentially just showing us footage of war crimes. Then we seem to have a Rambo movie occurring, and a nighttime rescue scene that was great, but then it just turns into a shooting gallery that is difficult to discern if meant to be ironic or not. The gore and effects are heavy but well done, but the movie itself really has no depth and flows more like a video game.

The action scenes are amazing. Another great movie.
