The Karate Kid Reviews
Honestly, it’s close to a masterpiece. The film has a great plot, two fantastic lead actor performances, good pacing, amazing action sequences, and superb writing and directing. This movie has not received the respect it deserves due to it sharing a name with the original series. If it had been named something else the film would have been an instant classic. I love the 1984 original as well but the truth is that this film may be ever better.
Got me to tears near the end, when he was in the bed all hurt. Absolutely relatable movie, recommendation for everyone to watch!!!
Directed by Jonh.G Avildson. The main caractère is a boy . He And his mother are going to leave their country to the Japon . The boy is going to integrate but japonesse children are bad with them . The plot seens to be absorbing because they is going to discovers a new country . The spécials effects are stunning And brillant , the photography are incredible. The performance of the main caractere is beautifull because he going to chock everyone. Généraly this film is amazing , I recommend this film to anyone who loves fights ans loves. If you haven’t seen it , you are going to miss something.
May not be as good as the original, but it worth a watch, is good
Not as good as the original as well very different in not a good way they also do kung fu so way is it called karate kid? I just don’t like it
Yuck! Just NO!! Awful in every way. Jaden Smith is not a good actor at all, and everything else is dull and predictable. The cinematography and Jackie Chan are the only things redeemable. Jaden Smith isn't even good enough to lick Ralph Macchio's boots
One of the “remakes for remakes sake”. Watch the original instead and actually enjoy the movie.
While this firm tries to cash in with celebrities, the storyline is a cheap ripoff of the original movie. There are no memorable moments between the teacher and student. Unlike the chemistry between Daniel and Mr Miyagi had in the 1984 movie. It lacks authenticity of the characters' mutual respect for each other. I would watch the original movie over this rehashed version.
Amazing movie with amazing fight scenes. This is a great remake
An fascinating take on the original franchise.
This was a great movie very well done to the director I hate that this movie is so underrated. Jaden Smith did such an amazing job playing Dre's part in the training he did for the karate, I lowkey wonder if he trained like he did in the movie. Mr. Han and Dre's relationship was the best thing it was such a beautiful story to see where they have grown together and to see the emotions they go through. Especially that very dark scene that got me, but I love that it shows you life can kick your ass, but no matter what, you can get your ass up and find some hope again. In finding what you love and don't, take things for granted.
O filme é bom, mas não entendi o porquê que o filme se chama Karate Kid se o Dre aprende Kung Fu.
The Kung Fu Kid, not the Karate Kid. Obviously the writers, director and Sony Pictures had no idea.😆 As Karate is the national sport Japan. It's not as if Sony Pictures a subsidiary of Sony Entertainment Inc, which is itself a subsidiary of Japanese multinational technology and media conglomerate. As it is actually, "The Kung To Kid". Would it be classified as a remake???
Very good movie and the movie theater was packed in 2010 when it came out. The white critics are just mad it's better then the original that's why they give it a low rating but it's very good as Jaden actually trained in China for the film and fully absorbed the culture for the role. Also Jackie Chan the legend himself is usually silly in his films but was very serious and stern in this film which added to the drama. Perfect story with perfect execution.
MANY better scenes than the one from 1984, good settings, choreography and soundtrack, the 80s one seems recorded on the street and the only memorable thing it has is the crane scene that nostalgia only helps it.
Creo que lo mejor de ésta película es el drama, las actuacione y peleas. Esto es Cine.
Liked the changes they made in this version.
If you don’t believe this movie is superior to the 1984 version you are completely blinded by nostalgia, it is an excellent movie
Awesome movie! The fight scenes are epic! Definitely watch!!!
I just saw this on 온라인카지노추천- I really enjoyed it! I actually felt like it was more of a Tribute to the Original than just trying to Redo it, which I liked. Jackie Chan was just Awesome in this role as teacher. And I thought Jaden Smith did Great. I also really loved him in The Pursuit of Happiness. He added some new personality & humor. I also really liked the Mom & the Girlfriend. I think they did a good job of balancing the Similar scenes of the Original and adding New touches to this one. Only thing I didn't love: the kids were too young. Would have been better, my opinion, sticking with teenage boys. The fight & training scenes were quite good.
