The film, rather insubstantial that it almost doesn't exist, distracted me for an hour and a half. [Full review in Spanish]

...an erratically-paced yet mostly enjoyable comedy...

Casting the enormous Austrian to play nice in a classroom full of six-year-olds was a stroke of genius.

Apart from the violence Crisp's trail leaves in his wake, there's much else to disturb youngsters watching Kindergarten Cop...

[Schwarzenneger's] transformation in to kids film star is nearly seamless, as he's able to connect with his primarily younger cast surprisingly well, and garners a strong chemistry with just about everyone in the film.

Actually fairly entertaining, buoyed by Schwarzenegger's self-deprecating charm and easy chemistry with his capable costar, Pamela Reed, and the hammiest bunch of tykes ever assembled for a movie.

A mish-mash of violence, psycho-drama and lukewarm kiddie comedy.

With a heart of purest mush, Kindergarten Cop still manages to be generally entertaining.

If Reitman's film gets closer than most to covering the bases, there remain huge gaps in plausibility and a romantic subplot any ten-year-old could tell you is just plain icky.

Surrounding Arnold with the giddy kiddies is a shameless, gimmicky stunt. But what the heck...Reitman's actioner still works as a zesty vehicle for The Muscled One.
