Kraven the Hunter Reviews
Even with the natural charms of some performers working their magic, there’s that can really save Kraven the Hunter. Bad CGI and atrocious dialogue bring down what might have been a fun movie in other times.

Aaron Taylor Johnson prowls around this season's fatally flawed Marvel/Columbia production like a vainglorious Dr. Dolittle who veers into vigilantism as a way to dodge familial dysfunction.

If this is the end of the SSU, the sub-franchise went out on a high note – relatively speaking. But that doesn’t make Kraven worth watching, mind you.

The most frustrating thing about "Kraven" is that there’s a solid B movie buried in here.

By the end of the film, you basically feel like you've watched another comic book outing made on an assembly line, one that tries to appeal to fans of action, but which didn't put nearly enough thought into the story & characters.

The grisly action is par for the course, and the leaden script lacks zing and zingers.

...the film is rather weak, somewhat twisted, with absurd plot twists and incredible fights - incredible to believe.[Full review in Spanish]

The film begins with an impressive action sequence that showcases Kraven’s talents, while also sprinkling in some humour. Unfortunately, it’s a rollercoaster of ups and downs after that as the picture yo-yos between solid storytelling and pitiful acting.

Not only is the wafer-thin plot painfully predictable but the secondary characters...are reduced to one-dimensional muppets who add little to the overall narrative.

This movie broke my brain.

The narrative structure of the film's script...is as if the producers had the writers work individually and spliced their work together haphazardly. [Full review in Spanish]

Kraven The Hunter could have had unprecedented cultural relevance. Many of the issues in the film are timely, but they’re caught within a whirlwind of subpar visuals, brain numbing dialogue, and lackluster pacing.

This movie suffers from horrible dialogue, poor writing, and way too many conveniences. The best part is the bloody, gore-filled, action sequences, but even those get old due to the slog of a story surrounding them.

Kraven The Hunter doesn't achieve much more than the bare minimum. [Full review in Spanish]

Despite some entertaining moments, Kraven the Hunter feels like a predator that’s lost its edge—competent in parts but fundamentally lacking in purpose and personality

Kraven the Hunter is either the latest film in an expanded cinematic universe centered on Spider-Man characters, OR it’s all a terrible dream I had.

Kraven the Hunter brings a nostalgic comic-book vibe but falters with its plot and execution.

The hunt stops here. Kraven may have finally put the Sony Spider-man adjacent films to their final resting place. So, maybe he is the greatest hunter of them all...but this is hardly a movie worthy of your time.

It must be turkey season.

Action packed from beginning to end, “Kraven the Hunter” is an unapologetic film where the nastier they bad guys fall, the happier the hero becomes.
