Kraven the Hunter Reviews
As a person completely biased toward Aaron Taylor-Johnson, as I believe he is so good-looking that every single one of his sins should be forgiven, I'm in complete disbelief at how bad this movie is. The movie's pacing is completely off, the CGI is so bad it looks like a poorly planned college project, and I'll not even comment on the script. I will mention that, before this movie, I'd never heard of Kraven, but the whole plot line seems like it was piled together with complete disregard for everyone; to the Marvel fans who got this crappy movie and people like me who could actually become fans of the saga if they didn't mash three movies into one. I would say I was disappointed, but I had such low expectations coming into the movie that the fact that they were met didn't surprise me. If you like bad fighting scenes and weird CGI animals, this is the movie for you - I hope you enjoy it!
Now this is what movies should be! It's brilliantly entertaining! Great acting! Vigilantism activism at its finest! Love love love
It is not the best Marvel for sure, but also not the worst. I saw it after (unfortunately) watching the latest Captain America, and I found it far more entertaining and interesting.
The director has wasted so much money. Everyth is bad about this movie
This movie was not based on Marvel comics. Kraven was supposed to be the villian and they made him like a hero. The action was poor, the plot was poor and the effects was poor.
Don't listen to the wannabe critics. Good movie, not the best CGI. Barely bothered me. I'm definitely hoping for a sequel.
The movie go worse and worse the longer I watched it.
I don't understand the hate for this movie. It's not perfect and certainly not a classic Marvel film but it's entertaining and enjoyable enough if you don't try to overanalyze it. Alessandro Nivola's did sound like he was making fun of the movie with his Borat-sounding accent. Glad he was killed off. The real problem with this movie is financial - it cost way too much. They should have spent more like $30 Million than $130 Million. Then maybe we would be talking sequels now.
Was expecting so much worse. I would even watch a sequel. CGI wasn’t perfect but it was fine. Was hoping to see the actual Kraven outfit earlier on. Liked the little character intro at the end and the hint of the jackal
Sayang oras. Taas ng expectation ko dahil sa mga dekalibreng aktor na sina Christopher Abbott & Alessandro Nivola. Pero parang di nabigyan ng magandang exposure ang dalawa. Sayang din un characters na ginampanan nila
Great movie! A must-watch.
Kraven the Hunter is terrible. Why did the Marvel brain trust greenlight this mess. I guess Russell Crowe needed a paycheck.
Terrible. Flaccid storyline, the same carbon copy origin story sonys other marvel projects have. It's morbius and venom only with a lion this time. Editing was sub par, and considering it was set in the frozen landscape of Eastern Europe and the gorgeous African savannahs the cinematography was boring. Russell crowes use was as forgetful as his dark universe cameo and you could tell the whole plot concerning his brother after the 13 minute. Completely and utterly stale, not worth the 7 AUD, but that should have been obvious beforehand because it was on special 2 weeks after it finished theatrical release in Australia.
I thought the moive was amazing it had a great story it kept me into it at all times I loved it
Better than Madame Web. Not saying much. Recommending only to die hard Marvel fans.
The latest entry of Sony Spiderman franchise take villain Kraven the Hunter. Makes him sort of antihero, where he battles poachers seemingly be sort of animal protector of sorts but then has absolutely no problem eating fish displaying a blatant demonstration of speciesism. The original character is no hero , tried to hunt Spiderman to prove that he’s the greatest hunter. This take is a little more crowd pleasing because of the aforementioned characteristics. The film introduces yet another Spiderman baddie, the rhino also , loosely based on the original comic character but no less cool. Overall a good story. Good special effects and fights 🍿🍿🍿🍿/5 on Netflix
was a little disappointed with the flow of the storyline. a handful of times got a tad off course, but the action bits were good.
Please. 15% is ridiculous. 73% public vote is the one I focus on. I think this is a decent Marvel film. The bes5ive seen come from Sony in absolute ages. Lead British actor is a fine actor and really pulled it off. I watched it at the cinema and it’s the fist time in years I managed to watch a decent marvel flic without wanting to walk out. In my opinion Sony ruined Marvel films. The pathetic wake mentality did not help. Snow White is a great example of pullin in the wrong people to make a point. This is a good film. I really enjoyed it. 15% is just silly but I guess a lot of critics try too much to see the negatives and be like the next Simon Cowell. I know enough about films. I watch enough of them.
