this was very hard to finish as an adult..

"New York Minute" I was watched younger in past time they both actress aren't that famous held by pop punk Canadian band known as : Simple Plan. It was terrible story based on "American girls power" lead into family relationship with independent. I suggested not to watch this film there is nothing special stories in there.

I watched it back in June 2021 when I saw it on Netflix which I didn't even know the movie existed but I recon I was too little of a kid as I was 5 years old in 2004. Truth be told I say the movie was well done by the twins before they quit the industry. Now surely there are a few mistakes and logics that I pointed out but either way it was still a great movie.

The movie was more enjoyable than I expected. The men love interests are one dimensional though. Just there to serve and help the Olsen’s as much as possible.

LOL, the funniest 01 hour: and 31 minutes ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Starring Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, the twin sisters with a younger movie star sister Elizabeth Olsen!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Also starring Eugene Levy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bad Comedy. Simple As that. The Acting is not good as it seems like the Twins put no effort into anything and are just going through the motions. Even if your just playing yourselves you should still put effort into being entertaining. The adult supporting cast is boring as well. Eugene Levy clearly thought for 80% of the film he was in the Maltese Falcon and so did the director. The cinematography in this is garbage its all over the place with camera angles that don't match what is going on at all. The editing is atrocious. This film feels like its shot like a Romantic comedy, than goes to a 40's Noir, than to a Sam Raimi film back to Screwball Comedy. There is no rhyme or reason or steady flow to any of it. It truly feels like a bunch of different Olsen Twin skits pasted together into a movie. The music is not good feeling very out of place at times. The pacing in this is awful as well with no sense of direction and no clear plot for most of the middle of the film. It is them just doing pointless hijinks and bad jokes. 95% of the jokes do not hit and some are cringe bad. The ending is kind of ok but its not worth sitting through the 1 hour plus to get there. Overall its a terrible comedy with no substance to it at all. Skip This No Matter what.

Filme legalzinho, o roteiro é bacana, gostei da química das irmãs olsen, a história é bacana, o elenco deu um ajudada a melhorar o filme, e as cenas são bacanas.

I remember this movie from the early 2000's and think it's beyond underrated. The Olsen twins running around NYC in towels, Andy Richter mentally torturing a dog, and Eugene Levy hijacking an RV? What more do you need. Perfect for a night in, a hilarious albeit predictable sister comedy.

New York Minute is the last film that the twin sisters made together, simply a waste of time and money, it is not charismatic and by far majestic.

I just don't see why this movie is so underrated! I'm not saying it's worth an oscar nomination but, for a teen movie of its time, it's well thought out, it's fun, the creators paid attention to details, the Olsens do their thing and they do it just great and it encompasses pretty much everything the mid-00s teen culture was. I don't think the benchmark for every movie should be Citizen Kane but rather films of the same time and genre and according to those criteria this one scores pretty high (not Mean Girls level but close enough).

There was no real plot, the entire movie just felt like a really weird dream where everything just happens with no proper link to the next action. It was pretty confusing but mainly really cringy and infuriating. But if you're looking to watch a movie with really crappy acting and a plot similar to a block of emmentaler, i say go for it

One of those films critics enjoyed ripping a new one. Mary-Kate and Ashley showed promise as movie stars. Critics were so hard on them, that they gave up acting after New York Minute. The film itself was too cliche. With total opposite twin sisters getting on each other's nerves throughout. Andy Richter as a villain who thinks he is Chinese is probably the worst thing about it.

Can't wait to raise my future children, grand children, great grand children, etc. on this film!! Entirely life changing!! You have not lived until you've seen this film!! Iconic film. Very unpredictable. Excellent acting and the plot constantly draws you in. Would definitely recommend if you're looking for a bit of fun.

I was 14yo when this movie came out - it was fun then, still fun now 16 years later... probably talking with a hint of nostalgia as well. It has its funny moments, although admittedly, the involvement of a chinese piracy ring was too much, and Jane getting the fellowship despite not delivering her speech, not too mention harassing the main panel several times throughout the movie. But then again, this movie has to be taken for what it is - a light and fun movie.

It was good but it was very basic and cliche. Two sisters who can't stand each other at the beginning of the movie, things happen to where they have day together and enjoy it, but hate it while being civil. They meet two heartthrob guys and have two people trailing them, something happens to where they realize that they're having fun together and another thing happens to where they have a big fight and go they're seperate ways. Somehow they meet back up and everything goes good for them, while one of the people trailing them goes to jail and the other one becomes their friend. By the end of the movie everyone's best friends with each other and both the sisters date the heartthrobs. Just saved you an hour and a half.

This movie isn't terrible, and it does have fun moments. I wouldn't write it off as a disaster, but I wouldn't rush to watch it again either.

Sappily formulaic as it's now a typicality for tween film, or younger, since not much judgment would be called on from the target audience besides the more critical reception that would criticize the east streak of incoherent filmmaking when storytelling may not be the main purpose. Nonetheless serves well for the Olsen twins' last shared cinematic hurrah as their careers transitioned at this point, with their recognized sisterly charm, and the meaningful humble heart within, bolstering the comedy to acceptable watchability supported by decent casting with their own comedic contributions. Infinitely cheesy, infinitely ridiculous. Oh and it's infinitely terrible. I much prefer Elizabeth Olsens filmography than the constant terrible films the Olson twins star in. Only redeeming factor is the Olsen twins are entertaining. Everything else about this film was a miscalculation

I loved it! Throw back...reminded me of fond memories from the early 2000s
