Nope Reviews
Jordan Peele has done it yet again. Disturbing, grisly but not Saw level grisly. Funny as hell and incredible performances by all the actors make for a solid entry into Peeles world of horrors.
pretty good nothing else
one of the greatest films of all time. Jordan Peele should be given an infinite amount of money everytime he says he wants to make another movie.
An excellent example of how cosmic horror with least horror elements and suspense should be done. Great segments of all emotions and a storytelling thats super easy to follow. Loved it!
effect where great, storyline was a bit lacking 😕
good just ending let down
Another stellar effort by Jordan peele.. the layers!!!
This was such a HORRIBLE, poorly made movie. A waste of my time and money.
Absolutely amazing had me at the edge of my seat
Twilight Zone Quality
It was different! Unpredictable with great actors!
It was definitely an interesting take on ETs and UAPs. Wish there was more of an explanation on how this “predator” came to be, how long it’s been around, etc…
Jordan Peele has done it again with another phenomenal horror movie that’s both scary and thoughtful. It’s excellently cast, and they all have superb chemistry together. The social commentary is highly intriguing and relevant to today’s society. With stellar writing and excellent cinematography, Nope is an absolute “yes!”
wouldn't watch it again but glad I saw it
What an amazing film! I rate it a 10/10. There’s so much to analyze and put together Jordan Peele is a masterful storyteller, weaving a complex storyline filled with social commentary on Hollywood, speculation on alien life, and what one character coins as “the impossible”. Both the story and score are superb. I have seen NOPE (2022) twice in theatres— on the second watch-through, you can really see that Mr. Peele left no stone unturned, though watching it for the first time was a great experience in and of itself. This is a film where you get to piece together what the initially-unseen threat was, and how everything in the film fit together. The film doesn’t give you everything up-front like most modern films do— rather, throughout the film, foreshadowing and connections to events and characters are employed, woven very intricately to create an on-screen spectacle. The cinematography and sound design create a stunning cosmic horror feel to the film, and the lighting, sets, and acting are all amazingly well done. The score adds so much tension, and at times, vicarious happiness to the scenes. NOPE (2022) has a mysterious, complex atmosphere— a modern Lovecraftian terror. This film is a complex and interesting film that I greatly enjoy. Personally, NOPE (2022) is one of my favourite films to have come out recently! I highly recommend seeing this film, and I’d also recommend not looking up the plot before you see it so that you can put everything together yourself, and make up your own theories. However, I’ll leave you with one thing to pique your curiosity— are you claustrophobic? You will be 👽😈.
so much potential but failed to deliver.
This movie sucked! The storyline of this movie was just ridiculous and stupid! Don't go see this movie!
This movie works best on the big screen. it is a spectacle that keeps you on the edge of your seat. Side note, the trailers for this movie were genius and added to the twist of the movie.
Boring as hell. Kept waiting for something, ANYTHING, to actually happen. Still waiting.
I wasn't sure what to expect from this movie but I actually enjoyed it. its original and thought provoking. there could have been a few side stories that could have been flushed out better but I enjoyed it.
