Pandorum Reviews
Not the Alien franchise .. but it tried ..
Not sure what movie everyone else watched but I liked this movie. Good story and good twist at end. Foster and Quaid performances were top notch. Good creatures and action.
Don't go by the critics. It's a must to watch if you are an alien fan
Great movie! Really enjoyed it, I can't believe critics gave it only 27%
It's a film that doesn't really know what it wants to be. Is it a monster thriller, or is it a space madness film? The first third of the movie plays out like a film about people lost on a spaceship in the dark and that's actually pretty good, but then it gets reduced to a cheesy mutant zombie style film where everyone knows martial arts for some reason. Finally they slap in some space madness twist that isn't earned and takes all of five seconds to be obvious. They just tried too many angles and didn't execute any of them well.
A (generally) gripping experience that starts on very strong footing by fixating on body horror and the vacuum of orienting information but which proverbially peaks in high school via showing far too much far too fast, nevertheless painstakingly nailing the aesthetics of a derelict spacecraft horror while casually fumbling character dynamics through its largely ambling plot.
It's a total Schas. Schaaas!
The vibe and the soundtracks of this movie are amazing, a real must see
Ignore the critics most of them probably can't dress themselves in the morning let alone understand this movie.
I'm shocked by the low ratings this film has received. Granted, I'm a devout science-fiction fan, but... This was a compelling movie. Great set design and costumes, terrific action with good pacing. There's a mystery broken up by bouts of violence. It's equal parts thriller, sci-fi horror, and--as stated--mystery. Not to mention the added bonus of adult language and scenarios courtesy of the R rating. What do these people want? Is it the finest? Nope. But, I'd re-watch "Pandorum" before I would Alien Resurrection, and I'm a diehard Alien franchise fan over and before my devotion to the genre. Dennis Quaid and Ben Foster, with an odd showing up of Cam Gigandet. All yes. Watch it. If you're disappointed, turn it off. But definitely ignore the pedantic reviews of the jaded lot of purported "critics".
This is a brilliant film! So tense I kept forgetting to breathe. With a great ending too. Why doesn’t everyone love this film? Ignore all the negativity and just watch it!
This was actually pretty cool. It's not the first Alien movie good, but surprisingly entertaining.
Yes draec m is correct .this is an excellent movie sci fi -horror .great acting, great set design ,great special effects etc can't believe the critics did not like this great ending
Kinda so so the most ok movie ever
A great, solidly made and well thought out film. Action, sci-fi and horror in one. With a twist... Well acted, solid script, good visuals.
I really like this movie. I think the story is very interesting. I think the creatures are intriguing and well put together. Overall just good all around.
Guy gets stuck in space and starts to go crazy. Very Alien, very good, super dark filter.
A real good movie. The acting is good and the story is interesting. They did a great job creating the look/atmosphere to pull off this story. Not many movies can pull it off so well!
It wasn't great, but still entertaining.
Pandorum ne réinvente pas le genre mais est un très bon divertissement de science-fiction
