It’s a good revenge movie. But, it could have, and should have been a half hour shorter than it was. There were just so many long scenes where the camera follows characters walking around, with nothing happen and nobody talking, for super long periods of time, for absolutely no reason! But when the action is happening, it’s almost worth it… super bloody movie

Beautifully shot, acted, and executed

It was a little crazy with the blood, (I don't think the human body has that much in it) and the injuries were worse than they should have been or they were injuries you definitely wouldn't be running around with, but I rally thought it was well done. The movie is half in French BTW

So well done, shot, and plotted

Grindhouse extraordinaire! The most ridiculous & unrealistic violence yet it’s sickeningly good. The sound & score add so much to the atmosphere. Well shot with palpable intensity. A simple premise that goes absolutely wild with it.

great movie about those getting what they deserve. matilda is a super sweety who's treated very badly by ugly bad guys. she has to take care of business in a very fair way. well worth watching.

Ridiculously funny. Absurd, a lot of gore. Fargeat loves blood, that's a fact. I'm still amazed how a female filmmaker has this twisted imagination. A example for the rest.

Written and Directed by Coralie Fargeat... Those are my new favorite words.

There are several plot holes and illogical character moments that don't really add up, however if you manage to ignore all that and suspend disbelief, "Revenge" is a very intense experience. The photography and locations are fantastic, the action is really suspenseful, the acting is convincing, and the prosthetics and effects are excellent, leading to some particularly visceral scenes. It's also worth noting that the three men are guilty in different ways, which gives the story a broader scope.

Great stylish film , Matilda at her best ..revenge genre ....so darn good period.

Almost everything about this was bad, except the girl was hot. Completely unrealistic in every way. I thought the substance was amazing but this one not so great.

Having been raped, and attacked by multiple men, and consequently having one nightmare after another (in which I thought I was awake), I must say... both incredibly CREATIVE and, unfortunately, quite REALISTIC. Wish I could have MY Revenge. :/

I recognize her style in many parts, music, cinematography, etc. Stunning. Just didn't like at all the acting of the main guy.
