Satanic Panic Reviews
Shot with a minuscule budget in just eighteen days, it’s as inspired as anything from early Sam Raimi and Peter Jackson. Blending pratfalls and body horror with sexploitation, Stardust finds the satire in Satan.

A few years down the line, Chelsea Stardust’s feature directorial debut is still a lot of fun and cult mayhem with solid performances and some good blood.

Satanic Panic is one of the rare films that manages to find the right balance, in that it's a zippily scripted movie with some great dialogue... and buckets and buckets of bloody good fun.

The film embraces lunacy and confidently runs with it.

If you watch this expecting 'great' cinema, you may be disappointed. If you go in hoping for 'fun' cinema, you might get what you're looking for.

Class warfare, gooey horror style.

Satanic Panic was a rock-solid horror banger. It's gory, it's hilarious, and it makes you genuinely care about the characters on screen, the good and the bad.

Satanic Panic is the perfect midnight movie to be watched with friends, pizza and beers... It doesn't take itself seriously, which means you don't have to either, ensuring even the most absurd and goofy scenes are still fun to watch.

It's everything you might expect from a Fangoria production and everything a horror kid could want out of a horror movie.

In a horror-comedy that's otherwise shamefully light on scares and laughs, the gruesome curses that the Satanists call down on their enemies are a highlight.

Satanic Panic goes on 20 minutes longer than it needs to, but the gore and laughs make up for that. Also, Rebecca Romijn gives a top notch horror villain performance.
| Original Score: B- | Oct 2, 2019
One of the best of 2019, this will surely become a staple for horror fans in no time at all.
| Original Score: 9/10 | Sep 25, 2019
Director Chelsea Stardust's Satanic Panic is a film which knows exactly what it wants to be. There's no pretence or aspiration - Satanic Panic wants to be a fun horror-comedy which doesn't skimp on gore or laughs.

... fun bits sprinkled throughout (pun intended)... this 2019 (unrated horror comedy) feels less like a throwback than an intentional also-ran... this is a solemn request to step it up instead of settle in, especially with the name Fangoria attached.
| Original Score: 2/4 | Sep 15, 2019
SATANIC PANIC, doesn't fully reckon with its own potential, it's filled with love for the genre and an aesthetic that feels like a self-assured post modern take on horror.

[These] three women are a trio of energetic magnetism who leap off the screen, Stardust utilizing them to chant an incantation of blood, guts, friendship and feminism I openly adored.

it delivers!
| Original Score: 3.5/5 | Sep 11, 2019
This extra cheesy 'za-horror barely invokes the name of Papa John let alone Satan's right hand.
| Original Score: 2.5/5 | Sep 10, 2019
Fans of 'Ready or Not' and 'Extra Ordinary' have already seen this movie done so much better.
