Sisu Reviews
I'm surprised this movie has reviewed so well. It's very okay. Story is very simple and the movie as a whole is very slow. Nice cinematography and good gory action but overall felt like it was lacking in the story department.
Viewers and critics say this movie was John Wick meets Mad Max. But when I watched it, it was more like Mad Max meets Rambo: First Blood.
John Wick in WW2, and it's a fun watch.
This is John wick's grandad
It’s a bit to much, it’s so over the top it gets boring. Too many slow movements during the movie. And it’s very clear they tried to copy Tarentinos style and did a bad job at it.
Ridiculously unbelievable. The story line was very weak, to the point of being comical. However the visuals were impressive.
Gory, and awesome to see an older man play hero that refuses to die. An underrated film and hope to see a Sisu 2
Don't mess with a man and his gold.
Top notch with everything.......story, actors and audio ✌🏾
A movie that should have been about a man evading German soldiers using his knowledge of the land, instead became a movie about an invincible old man who takes on the worst German soldiers in all of Europe. I wanted to like this movie but it was too dumb to enjoy.
Watchable but gets pretty foolish the further you get into it. Started out good enough but got more absurd as the movie went along. By the time it starts getting really dumb, you’re already invested, so you might as well ride it out. Isn’t a war classic or one you’d watch more than once.
Totaly entertaining, hand over the mouth violence showing what true courage and determination never give up Finish attitude. Felt like it was produced by Quinton Tarentino. Non stop action and the star only had one line. Much better than the ussual fare filled with one liners!!!
Horrible. Terrible acting, unbelievable events, dumb plot.
Completely silly but spellbinding. It's Tarantino on crack. Let go your disbelief and take it all in. If you do, you'll love it as I did.
Really good start but there are many plot twists that make absolutly no sense. One of the worst movies i‘ve ever seen.
This film would have been awesome had it not have been for the ridiculous scenes where a thousand bullets can’t hit the protagonist, or when the bad guys wait in line one at a time to fight him.
With a feel of Inglourious Basterds, John Wick, 1917, and Godless (I did say 'feel', not likeness), this is a badass, raw, bloodlust-vengeance war thriller with attitude and grit. It feels like the team behind the camera are in the shadow of Tarantino and want their time in the sun. Overall, it is a well executed vision, with settings, costume, effects, script, and performances all aligned as such. I like that it doesn't have the flag-waving, gun-toting, 'hoorah' of a shiny, mega-funded Hollywood blockbuster... it feels more genuine. Really enjoyable
Good but I lost interest and just had it on in the background
Found this flicking through Netflix. What a find! Gritty, gory and totally over the top but utterly brilliant.
