Skinamarink Reviews
I loved this movie. If you want to be spoon fed your entire movie experience, then this film may not be for you. I loved how it left more to the imagination. It truly brought me back to my childhood and that feeling of something lurking in the dark in your own home.
If you’re scared or were ever scared of the dark, this movie messes you up
terrifically terrifying
literally the most terrifying movie I have ever seen
Its fantastic but only for fans of experimental stuff. A lot of people will hate it but thats how movies like this are.
Didnt do it for me. I get the concept and Im happy for the first time filmmaker spending 15k only and made a huge profit, Im all for new filmmakers making it, but overall I couldnt get to liking it as others have. Saw it at the theater specifically so I can contribute and support this film, and I encourage everyone to go see independent movies at the theaters please, but I also have to be honest. I get the horror aspect and what the filmmaker was going for but it was boring and way to home video feel for me. PS I didnt mind Paranormal Activity or The Blair Witch Project but this was too easy for lack of a better word.
Brilliant, eerie, oneiric n extremis, Makes Eraserhead feel like West Side Story.
It was just angles of doors and feet. It would have been a better YouTube
Drive home with dome lights on creepy. Certain clips just relay even after the film. Can’t keep enough fingers over my eyes no lol.
General audiences probably aren't conscious enough to enjoy the film. If you thought "nothing happened" then you simply weren't paying attention.
Scariest movie I’ve ever seen it’s so creepy to think about
There was definitely some scary parts but it’s not one of those jump scare kind of movies. I thought it was a cool idea and it left me wondering!
Its very low quality and personally not my type of movie.
about an hour and 20 minutes too long. yikes.
This was a terrible movie. The aesthetic is definitely creepy but it was impossible to understand what was going on in the movie. It was like watching someone's bad dream because of the lack of coherency. Everyone at the theater I was at looked at each and collectively said WTF.
This was one of the worst movies I've seen in a while
I didn’t like it at all
Not a movie!!!!! I feel literally SCAMMED WALKED OUT. PURE GARBAGE MUFF CABBAGE
This should not have been in theaters. A short on YouTube would have made more sense. First movie in a theater where everyone had a collective “huh” at the end. It was literally watching paint dry most of the time.
Scary and unnerving. Sadly resorts to jump scares in a few parts, which are utterly pointless as the film would've been just as scary without them. It is left unambiguous to why everything happened, which is also disappointing as it would have been 1. scarier and 2. deeper if... something- was simply not confirmed. Not meh, don't know why Fandango insists that a 3/5 star is meh, as that is by all means an above average score, but whatever. Watch it! Small independent movies need love, too!
