Spencer Reviews
Kristen Stewart's transformation becoming Princess Diana is remarkably convincing.
First of all, I couldn't understand much of the dialogue. Yes, I have a slight hearing problem, but seriously...there were times I was convinced they were speaking a foreign language. I don't know how much fact there was in this movie...we know Diana was depressed and had bulimia, but I left the theater a little depressed myself and headed for a good Tex-Mex meal with more than one margarita. I had a lot of respect for Diana during her years in the palace and felt she was dealt a raw deal by the royal family, but when the end of this movie FINALLY came, I really didn't care any more. She deserves to be remembered in a more caring manner.
A bit slow nor sure what the overall "message" was - if there was one!
IT WENT NOWHERE. It painted a completely different picture of Diana. Was it based on fact or just out and out vengeance towards Diana? Save your time and money and by a good book
I loved Kristen Stewart in this movie. It shows the fragile mental state of Diana during the Christmas holiday with the royal family. The movie is more on the artistic site.
I enjoyed the movie and the acting was wonderful!
Performance, aesthetic, and cinematography are great. I understand the plot is not the driven force of this film and it could be a bit dry. Music score is just right.
It was Ok but I get why a lot of people hate it. It is slow at parts and it makes Diana look like a spoilt brat. Luckily I never really cared for the royal family.
Kristen stewart truly deserves an Oscar for this. I had my doubts when the cast her, but I can gladly admit that she did a great job. She completely disappears, like you actually forget that you are watching Kstew. I was impressed and hope she starts getting better roles.
Normally I enjoy artsy films, but this movie was just strange. Without context the film depicts Diana as crazy and the Royal family as statues. This is definitely a wait for cable type of film.
Eu me apaixonei por este filme. Eu não sabia muito sobre a princesa porque no meu país ela não é tão popular, mas eu gostei muito dela.
If you you watch this movie expecting an epistode of the crown you are gonna be very disappointed...that being said, it was OK
Such a sympathetic reflection of what Diana went through as Prince Charles unloved wife. Fabulous acting on the part of Kristen Stewart!!!
The music makes this a masterpiece and more. I cant describe how it made me feel but it is special and we are not worth it
