A cult classic and so cheesy it’s brilliant!

I read the reviews - there are worse films then that of 'Spice World'! That written, and in no way to comment about the music those young ladies sang, but remembering of those times - it really was ridiculous that the notable point of *cough* fame came because one of those girls wore a stupidly short dress (to the point it was more of a long top than a dress) that would of had young girls of that time, well.. end up in tears after a horrible night out. I hope the wardrobe stylist (and everyone that thought that was a 'good idea') got fired.

I was unsure how Spice World could even compare to a movie like Stuart Little 2. I had my doubts but came into this viewing experience with an open mind. As I leaned into a lovesac with my partner, right from the opening credits, my jaw fell to the floor. I was mesmerized. I knew I was in for one of the most brilliant and entertaining performances of modern cinema. Bravo, 100% fresh.

It's a spice girl movie. Stop expecting so much. It had them, their music and it was colourful and funny. All you could really ask for really.

It's a goofy movie! Hardly a plot at all, but if your a long time fan. You don't need one. It's goofy fun in a world of chaos

I get the fact that the Spice Girls were such a massive icon during the 90's, however Spice World was an absolute trainwreck with poor writing and a messy plot and bland script that makes very little sense from beginning to end.

If you grew up as a fan of the Spice Girls, you will thoroughly enjoyed this movie for the satirical but intimate sugar rush that it is. Even if you weren't a Spice Girls fan but grew up in the era of pop music existing as a money making machine in the late 90s, you will appreciate this film for it's self awareness as it parodies this. This film is a fever dream, complete with alien abduction, that represents the chaotic life of being the world's biggest girl group in an age on the cusp of social media - yet distinctly before it existed. I don't think there will ever be the same degree of pandemonium around a girl group like there was the Spice Girls. And for that - this movie exists as a relic of that era not to be forgotten about.

One word: nostalgia.

I don't understand why this movie has so many dislikes. It is iconic, funny and just extremely satisfying. The music is great too because Spice Girls! All you have to do is sit back and just enjoy the movie. Defiantly one of my top favs for SURE.

Quite simply put.. the single most worst thing to happen to U.K. film and pop. Ever. Even Jaws: The Revenge had more bite. Scarred me for life.

Awful. There is basically No plot, I feel like the Spice Girls were told just do stuff and the camera was left on half the time because this isn't acting what they do and the rest is just average at best. Most of the music numbers have no good dancing or lavish colors and the cinematography is bland. The editing and pacing are terrible as this feels like a 10 minute music video made into a feature length film as a cash grab. The music itself is just ok with a few good ones here and there but is just boring to watch most of the time. Even if your a fan of the Spice Girls stay away from this and just listen to the albums. Complete waste of time.
