Terrifier 3 Reviews
A slight step down from the previous entry, Terrifier 3's split narrative often feels like two very different films forced into one with tonal shifts that lack finesse. Thornton and LaVera's performances elevate the wobbly execution, though.

The biggest drawback in Terrifier 3 is its role as a transitional chapter leading to an inevitable fourth installment which, if it continues along the current trend, could become a slasher cathedral remembered by future generations of fans.

While 2 remains the benchmark to beat, Terrifier 3 proves there's plenty of life left in David Howard Thorton's Art the Clown and the Christmas debauchery is extremely, extremely welcome (particularly the chainsaw scene)

Wonderfully gross, disturbing, dark and hilarious for any fan of slasher movies.

Terrifier 3 does not disappoint. It is bloody and bold and bloody and silly and bloody – did I mention it was bloody?

If you can imagine, it’s even more depraved, sadistic and just plain wrong. No one is spared: families, kids, lovers – all at the hands of a silent creature that finds absolute joy in others’ pain – and now in a Santa suit most of the time.

What last time around felt like a fresh, full-blooded geek show that was very much a love-letter to the slasher films of the 1970s and ‘80s instead reeks of recycled ideas, barely hanging together as a series of set-pieces.

[Damien Leone] has managed to maintain the essence of his killer clown without excessively stretching a plot that no one is looking for. [Full review in Spanish]

The film wants to be extreme and brutal, but instead, it provokes laughter and discomfort; what is truly disturbing does not come from visual savagery but from having a connection with the characters... [Full review in Spanish]

Terrifier 3 is a visceral and at times nauseating experience, an exercise close to the torture porn of the beginning of this millennium. We must appreciate, however, the confidence, imagination, and absolute lack of solemnity... [Full review in Spanish]

However, what defines these films is their ability to visually impact and immerse the viewer in an extreme experience, full of graphic violence and psychological horror, consolidating it as the gore trilogy par excellence. [Full review in Spanish]

Some might say you can't 'love' a film like Terrifier 3, but this is one of the few films you will watch this year that does exactly what its filmmaker wanted it to do. To be a gorefest that entertains.

It is ironic, it is brutal, and it is ironically brutal. [Full review in Spanish]

The 'Terrifier' saga has become a peculiar phenomenon in horror cinema. But it is his third film that surprises by brutality and sadism, all mixed with a sick sense of humor. [Full Review in Spanish]

An unexpected Christmas title in which Leone brings depth to the origin of a supernatural villain who masterfully picks up the baton from Freddy Krueger, pitting him once again against superheroine Sienna. [Full review in Spanish]

How is it? Well, it’s disgusting, and I mean that in a good way.
