Art really out did himself. can't wait to see how the next one plays out

I’d heard a lot about this movie before I even saw it – people throwing up, audience members walking out mid-screening, heated debates on Twitter… and as much as I didn’t want to believe the hype, I have to admit – it’s all true. The plot follows a possession that takes hold of a former serial killer named Art the Clown, who returns to unleash terror on Christmas Eve. Yeah, it sounds campy – but it’s so much more than that. Let’s be clear from the start: this film is absolutely not for the faint of heart. It’s a graphic, extreme piece of work that pushes the boundaries of good taste to their absolute limit – even for me, a longtime horror fan, there were moments that were genuinely hard to watch. We all left the screening a little shaken… maybe even seeing a bit of black at the edges. The actors? Not all of them shine, but the film does manage to create two iconic characters – both well-written and brilliantly performed: David Howard Thornton as Art the Clown delivers a phenomenal performance, blending soft, soothing music with a love for blood, torture, and murder. And in between all that, we still catch glimpses of something strangely innocent – a childlike presence, a desire to be stopped, or maybe just a desperate craving for attention. Lauren LaVera, returning as Sienna Shaw (first introduced in Terrifier 2), plays a modern “final girl” with a mystical backstory, mental and physical resilience, and a character that’s surprisingly easy to connect with. What stands out the most is the sense that Art is always one step ahead. Just when you think you’ve seen it all – he surprises you again, in ways that are more shocking, more extreme, and more disturbing. But… the ending is a letdown. After such a creative, intense, and chilling ride – the finale feels clichéd and emotionally flat. As if someone just wanted to wrap things up quickly, without giving the story the ending it truly deserved. Still – Terrifier 3 is one of the most intriguing (and most extreme) horror films of recent years. It’s highly recommended to watch the second film beforehand – it’s slightly more accessible and provides important context for the characters and events of this one. Bottom Line: Terrifier 3 is not just another horror flick – it’s a brutal, visceral experience. If you’re looking for something that’ll challenge both your stomach and your psyche – this is exactly what you’ve been waiting for. This isn’t refined cinema – it’s adrenaline, shock, and nightmares. And if you made it to the end? You’ve earned a medal

I do really love Art the Clown. This movie has more creative and gory deaths. Love that Art dresses as Santa in this movie.

It's Great, But bloody disgusting. Art is very creative with his brutality!

After the financial success of the second part, the director got down to work on the 3rd part, adding a lot of details and references and no less sophisticated ways of killings.

An S tier contemporary slasher. Creative plot with robust gore and fantastic acting wrap this piece into a delightful treat for the senses. There is no holding back in this masterpiece!

I have been waiting for this to come out for over a year and on Friday I got to see terrifier 3 in theaters. Huge fan of Damien Leone, Lauren LaVera and of course David Howard Thornton. I have seen everywhere over the internet that the shower scene is the big one in terrifier 3 although I thought that the rat torture scene was just as violent. Everybody thought that there was so much in terrifier 2. Terrifier 3 was a little bit shorter and they packed even more in this one than they did in terrifier 2. Humor is hilarious in 3. My only problem with this film is that a couple of the scenes where just shot in an awkward, so for those scenes it took a minute for me to understand what was going on. You get Sienna kicking ass and they did a perfect job of telling you backstory of the father but not to much that it spoils everything. What a gorefest!

It's a crazy slasher movie, but there are a few things I didn't like. The first thing – the family plot and so on was weak, but that's understandable – it's like that in 99% of all horror movie plots. The second thing – it felt a bit too long. And now for the movie's advantages – first, all the violent scenes were really good (even better than in the previous movies). Second, the ending was simply genius. Now I'm waiting for the fourth movie.

The master of gore, Damien Leone, is back with the third installment of the Terrifier saga, and he’s not ready to make this film the last in the franchise just yet. This movie proves how amazing things can be achieved without relying on VFX. The practical effects are stunning, and the gore scenes are remarkably well done. However, some of them are a bit too extreme for me. Sensitive viewers, beware, because it’s not pretty to watch. The image quality gives the film a vintage 80s feel, with a slight grain effect that somewhat blurs the visual quality. As for the story, it remains fairly basic and is clearly not the film's strong point. While there is a narrative thread, it’s weak and underdeveloped. The new characters lack depth and fail to make us care about them. The plot continues from the events of the second film and seems to set the stage for a fourth installment. The dialogue, though simple, does its job. It’s clear that this is a low-budget film, which is reflected in the casting. David Howard Thornton and Lauren LaVera are the only ones truly mastering the art of performance. The other actors are average at best and don’t bring anything particularly memorable to the table. However, despite its flaws, credit must be given to the effort put into this low-budget film. With their limited resources, the creators managed to build something solid and watchable for horror film enthusiasts. Rating: 3.5/5

Art the clown does it again with a greater production. Loved this movie

I am an OG All Hallows Eve/Terrifier fan, but the last 2 films are just not good. The special effects makeup and gore is always on point, but that’s about it. At least with Terrifier, you knew the acting wasn’t supposed to be good. Guess I was hoping, now that there’s been some traction in the films, the storyline and acting would’ve been better. Who knows - maybe this is just his thing. Needless to say, I didn’t finish it.
