Most episodes of The Twilight Zone run 30 minutes, and there's barely enough material here to justify a feature, but Ezban makes it work.

a surreal assimilation of reality to fantasy, wearing its generic influences (sci-fi, noir, horror, pulp) on its face, while also weaving them into the very fabric of it story. It may be concerned with copying, but The Similars is a true original.

This SF spoof eventually turns silly, but not in an interesting way.
