Like being at an actual Broadway Musical

Really moves along. Really good production and direction

There is a certain amount of care into introducing tough relatable and cringe things and make the audience comfortable with it. This movie excels in ways I did not think a musical based film would portray

Made me sob five times and I usually only sob once, so prepare to be emotionally drained afterwards. First movie Ive seen in a while that really impacted me, I think its great, Im trying to think of something to criticize it over but Im coming up blank. Bring tissue

Phenomenal! I cried literally half of the film. Can't wait to watch it 700 more times at home.

Not a single moment wasted.

I took theater in high school and a class in college but I wouldn’t consider myself apart of that crowd and I’m not the biggest Broadway person. This film feels very Broadway and it’s what you would expect the directorial debut of Lin-Manuel Miranda with all that being said I loved this one! Andrew Garfield is a absolute STUD throughout the movie, dude can sing! The whole cast was brilliant. Lin really told the story of Jonathan Larson so well.

Andrew Garfield is amazing as Jonathan Larson. If you are a true theater nerd, you will love all the cameos. Lin-Manuel Miranda nailed it!

I laughed and cried. It brought me back to the early 90s when I worked with a community theater. I lived and worked within the gay community, my roommate was gay and a was a writer of music. We lost too many friends to HIV/AIDS and although he was HIV- died from cancer before he was able to get his musical done. I recommend this movie to anyone who loves music or loves someone who loves music.

Who knew that Andrew Garfield could do Musical Theater. He was great. I liked the musical better than RENT which was also by Jonathan Larson.

If you love Broadway musicals you will definitely love this movie! Andrew Garfield is absolutely hands-down phenomenal in this movie!!

The directing and acting were brilliant, not to mention the great story about an immensely talented musical theatre artist/song writer.
