DogMan Reviews
Loved every minute of it. Brilliant. Nearly teared-up in places. Love dogs and the underdog. Highly recommended.
Caleb Landry Jones is FANTASTIC in DogMan. Just Brilliant. The movie is Very captivating. One of my all time favorite movies for sure !!1
Definitely this film is the peak of Luke Besson’s creativity. Great acting of the main character, many hairy friends, inventive combat scenes. The only thing that hurts is the ending of the film. P.s. best 2024 movie.
Very original, well-crafted and well-developed. May not be everyone's cup of tea, but if you're willing to indulge 2h of fine author's cinema, go for it.
This movie has enough pull to make you watch to the end particularly in the heartfelt acting of the 2 main leads. Caleb Landry Jones was engagingly peculiar and Jojo T Gibbs was subtly empathetic throughout. Ultimately the movie fails to deliver a more inspiring conclusion but no regrets enjoying the ride.
Great story and amazing performance by caleb jones. I can't believe he wasn't nominated.
Different. I liked it. Watch it.
This was a genuinely original film with some truly beautiful moments whilst also being very odd and quite disturbing. And the dogs are filmed so well. I can only congratulate Luc Besson on being an exceptional artist and excellent choreographer.
This movie is marmite, you'll either love it or hate it. Deep and symbolic. Caleb is on top form, reminds me of brad pitt in interview with a vampire for some reason but that's probably just me. Give it a shot.
Very interesting film with some real darkness at its heart. Didn't need the religious angle. Jones is outstanding
Thoroughly enjoyed this film. I had no idea what I signed up for when I starting this film, but the performances and story had me hooked from beginning to end. Underrated and a must-see.
A hunds. Besson's "Dogman" is a twisted canine odyssey where man's best friend becomes a vengeful ally, transforming disability into dark, poetic justice through Caleb Landry Jones' mesmerizing performance. Yes it may be far fetched at times (pun intended), but if you love hunds then you will melt everyone one or all of them appear on screen.
DogMan delivers a dark and twisted story that grips you from start to finish, never letting go of its intense momentum. The film's unflinching narrative is elevated by a fantastic casting choice, with performances that bring depth and authenticity to this gritty tale. Despite its heavy themes, the film is never boring, maintaining a captivating pace that keeps you on the edge of your seat. A great watch that masterfully balances its darker elements with compelling storytelling.
Amazing film well acted brilliant writing the dogs steal the show laughter tears and soul searching guaranteed really love this very pleasantly surprised.
Loved every minute. Gripping, thought provoking and easy to follow. A must for anyone who loves dogs (and drag).
Uniquely brilliant, like a modern day jungle book - with drag and dogs.
Very original and well done… I loved it!
While it has a great lead turn by Caleb Landry Jones (Contraband, The Last Exorcism) and a bunch of talented dogs. It all gets buried by Luc Besson (The Extraordinary Adventures of Adèle Blanc-Sec, Arthur and the Revenge of Maltazard) pretentiousness and his gross misunderstanding of sensitive issues
Great film, easy watching, thought provoking. Who are we and what makes us tick, best part the dogs, they are all so beautiful, !! I now want to give up my job and have a ten dogs to everyone I know. A happy peaceful life without the competition cxxx. Well done you guys. Amazing. Xx
