Jacob's Ladder Reviews
This reimagining is more focused on paranoia and the relationship between Jacob and Isaac than it is creating a terrifying metaphor for PTSD, and the horror element is largely forgotten. It doesn't really offer any depth beyond that, either.

The new "Jacob's Ladder" plays like a half-hearted sketch of the movie it could have been.

The new "Jacob's Ladder" is less strange and scary, and more mindlessly action-packed. It doesn't feel like a dream. It's more like hearing a stranger describe a dream.
