Night Swim Reviews
The build-up was promising, but the ending felt rushed and sloppy, all horror aspects were lost at the end, causing a disappointing finish
the movie I'm not sure how it went because I'm an action first type of gyal so I fell asleep within the first 20 mins
had potential from seeing the trailer. but sitting there was boring and a complete waste of time.
very predictable and mediocre
While I thought that the ending was a bit cheesy and uninteresting for the most part. This movie was still very well made for its setting. Very good popcorn flick.
This movie had no plot and the characters didn't seem connected in any way. For a "scary" movie, there was no intensity in the buildup of action.
I’m giving this 4 stars STRICTLY BECAUSE IT IS NOT A BAD movie. I saw complaints about this movie being a predictable horror movie? I liked it and it happy jumpy moments. If your favorite movies are Oscar worthy, then horror in general isn’t for you. It has one purpose and that is scaring you. I enjoyed it. Really hard to trust ratings anymore because society has become so hard to please and people don’t watch movies in theater anymore except for real passionate movie goers.
This movie was okay. It was mostly predictable. My granddaughter wanted to see it and she liked it. I don't think it was worth the cost of movie tickets and snacks.
Movie had jump moments, but a possessed pool is a bit much.
This movie was amazing. I loved it. When I seen the previews I said I have to see it.
Interesting story. Not the best Ive seen but decent!
This movie was definitely a great jump scare movie overall but the storyline was a little weak. Its a great date movie!
This was the most hacknyed, amateurish, predictable movie I've ever seen and I was alone in the Theater.
This is better than the reviews are saying. Give it a chance.
Jump scares here and there, and even those weren’t scary. Ehh
It wasn't what I thought but it was interesting. The idea of a buried spring creating havoc for unsuspecting swimmers, not bad. However, the ending definitely needed improvement.
It was good. Not as scary as some others, but kept us on the edge of our seats, and I liked that it wasn't gorey.
It was fun. First half served a bit more as a character focused story, then slowly turned into the cheesy horror flick that you’d expect. Overall fun.
I love the movie 10/10
Blumhouse has been on a streak of stickers lately. I had a feeling this wasn’t going to be good. What kept me interested was I wanted to see how they pulled this off. Some shots were cool. Jump scares didn’t hit. The dad played for the brewers that’s cool. Even that seemed so irrelevant. They could have skipped paying for the brewer rights, made him a former major league player not associated with any team and it’s the same movie.
