Repo Men Reviews
Concept & Action scenes were on point, but the ending makes it lose all its credibility.
It's weird how I had overlooked this movie so, so many times, flicking through the cable 온라인카지노추천 channels, always thinking that it would be the 1984 classic with the same title. Only now did I realized that these are two very different movies with identical titles, only to confuse even a movie fan like me. Anyway, realizing my mistake, I finally watched it, being delighted that it had Jude Law, Liev Schreiber and Alice Braga (I'm not a fan of Forest Whitaker). The movie is cruel, brutal, in fact, quite merciless with a clever story, and for most parts enjoyably tense. Unfortunately at the very end it becomes outrageously and senselessly bloody, beyond the level of a John Wick movie (and that 4 years before the first one of the Wick franchise) only to finish in an absolutely unexpected twist. Too cruel and bloody for me, but I have to admit, very cleverly made. 7/10 points.
I adore this weird little cult film because it's not the opera nor a Hot Topic shopper's erotic dream. Great leads, solid acting all around, ghoulish violence and humor, and last but not least: the absolute best (and possibly only) cybernetic-surgical-sex scene you will ever see. If you're a fan of poorly rated yet awesome films, this film's for you.
it was ok, but it seemed to fall a little bit short, maybe a remake in the future will do some good
This is an excellent movie. It has a great plot, great action, and an excellent surprising ending. I will never understand the bad reviews.
Loved it the story and character developing amazing great acting... And it's kind of based on a real problem...
I Loved Repo Men it's a very Underrated sci fi flick, Jude Law & Forrest Whitaker were great in the film. The action sequences were well directed & the script was really good & the plot was intriguing. One my favorite action scenes was where Jude Law fights the bad guys with hacksaws & the song Burn My Shadow by Unkle is playing very satisfying one of the Best Sci Fi Thrillers since Equilibrium.
I found this movie very good. I was never bored and I thought of the storyline as very interesting. Especially the ending was very surprising to me, and had me shocked. But I didn't think it ruined the movie, rather completed the story in a logical way. The acting, of course, was amazing. The cast couldn't have been better. I think one who likes a bit thriller and some kind of a scince fiction - I highly recommend to watch this movie!
I like dystopian movies and I liked this one. A movie where friendship and love win
Damn good film! Good story and very well acted, I love it! Only thing I must say is that the Netflix version misses out vital parts of the film unlike the DVD version.
A pure and simple action/sci-fi film with zero politics. I can't fault it. Well worth a watch and a re watch!
Realia spoko, ale fabuła filmu słaba. Pseudointelektualny, a bohater przygłupi. Sceny walki bez pomysłu. Zakończenie ok, ale wepchnięte całkiem z dupy
Disgusting film, murdering people in gruesome deaths for their organs. One scene has Forest Whitaker cutting out someone's kidney in a taxi front of his house while a barbecue goes on in the backyard. I'm all for cyberpunk. This is disgusting though… incredibly mean spirited film.
Very interesting fututrisic Si-Fi rat race & way before our time even in 2021, bloody but no organs haha... Solid cast team with breakthrough performances & breathtaking experience.
Way too long. And boring.
Interesting yet familiar in overall setting on different parts looked over by the same type of system while nicely touching base on a classic dystopia twist, still included beneath the unoriginal setting stained by gruesome violence. As per formulaic routine, this dull picture is more defined by the main trio's charisma through conflictingly mixed morals as their performances barely pumped the film to minimal satisfaction. (B-)
